From a solo developer, Radiolight casts you in the role of Ethan, a police officer in the town of Ashwood Creek in 1985. A boy is missing, and Ethan ventures into a vast national park looking for answers. Strange radio signals are the first sign that this is not a routine investigation.

I am two hours in and while at times there has a bit much wandering the forest, I am enjoying myself.

It plays in the first person and uses the keyboard extensively, including to get around, although you can map keys to suit and get the mouse more involved. You will have a map and a flashlight (I recommend leaving that on) as well as a walkie-talkie which you use to report things to 'head office' and a separate radio that is important in terms of the signals you begin to hear. Puzzling to date has been finding and using things, and exploration is a significant part. Objectives will pop up, cutscenes will punctuate events, and you can save at will, but only to a single save point. It isn't a visually pretty game, but its perfectly fine for the environment and atmosphere created, helped by the muted colour palette. It is voiced, and ambient noise and a not-there-all-the-time soundtrack rounds things out.

On the basis of what has come to date, I will definitely play this through to its conclusion.
