Hi Laurette, if you had been following a lot of the discussions we have been having here about Big Fish, you would probably understand better what's going on. Big Fish underwent another big transition late last year where Big Fish was sold again and is now Big Fish Games Entertainment. Lots of changes are occurring, including the fact that two of their HOPA developers were let go, with plenty of accusations on both sides about who is in the right and who is in the wrong (and lawsuits have been filed, to go to court around next May, I believe). Big Fish Entertainment has formed a new development studio but thus far they have developed a new game for mobile and that's it, as far as I know. They say that other things are planned but nothing concrete has been announced as yet.
So yes, things are very different. I have adopted a wait and see attitude to see what ensues over the coming months. I have enough HOPAs to last the rest of my life and I enjoy other genres too such as solitaire, match 3, and TM. But for those who were customers of Big Fish for the HOPA games and have pretty much everything already, the pickings have been slim.
