Released in 1995, The Beast Within is generally lauded as a classic of the genre and was an original entry into the GB Hall of Fame. A follow up to the very successful Sins of the Father, it reunited Sierra and Jane Jensen and changed the first game’s 2D animation to full-motion video (FMV). Occupying six CDs when first released, thanks to GOG it can now be played on modern systems with nary a CD in sight, and no need to wrestle with bits of third-party software to get it running. Thanks flotsam and Draclvr. At the time this came out I thought it was the best video game I had ever played.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.
