Good Saturday morning. Yikes, judith! That is pretty cold, but at least you didn't have to deal with the time change. But I think I'd rather have cold than your gale force winds, Mad!

Going to be a beautiful sunny fall day here for our first Wagon Day of the season down at Longmeadow. I am working this event today and I suspect we are going to have a huge crowd because the weather is so nice. I'll be doing wagon and walking tours. A young family with 3 littles who are good friends are coming today and I promised them a personal tour!

It's cold and wet and extremely windy. I'm expecting a visit from a friend who live in Comox but perhaps she'll postpose because of the weather. We certainly won't be going for a walk. I'm off to the store later to buy some snacks and then I'll see about making a reservation at the local brew pub.

Well, the first storm is finished but the second and much worse one is now winding up 👎

The government is warning of possible danger to life - and property damage from ferocious winds - and also flood warnings and power loss.
And yesterday recommended holding a back-up supply of three days worth of food and water and other vital things !!

As usual, Scotland and the SW of England are expected to suffer the most but the whole of the UK is likely to take a substantial battering

Finally back to normal time in Europe after the idiotic time change this night.

Unfortunately I expect the madness to return with a vengeance next spring despite Brussels promise to end the madness.

Good Sunday morning. Another beautiful day ahead - supposed to hit 80 this afternoon. Fogfighter, 10 C and rain sounds miserable. WADDB black sounds like the perfect thing.

We had a nice crowd for the Wagon Day at the Ranch yesterday - about 190 people. I expected more because it was such a beautiful day. But I was "too pooped to pop" as my grandma used to say when I got home! So we just ordered carry out pizza for supper.

Think I'll take the day off and play some Witcher 3!
