Does anyone else has the problem of the screen's refresh rate being at 60Hz?

I was facing the same with Scratches and my old computer, so I don't believe that this is a problem of my configuration settings.

This type of question always makes me feel stupid, but here it is. I have: have downloaded the long patch for: and am playing Scratches: the Director's Cut. Thus far all is gorgeously well. Some day I will finish and uninstall it. Can I add the large download to the existing game disk? Can I and should I save it to another disk? Will it automatically disappear from my computer when I uninstall the game. Does all that mean that a year or more from now, when I wish to replay Scratches: The Dirctor's Cut that I will again need to download the giant patch.
(Note, this becomes even more important since here are web rumors of another large patch which may be instead of and/or may be in addition to the existing large patch. Scrooge was correct "I'll retire to Bedlam!!!)

I put it on a CD and keep it with the game. You won't be able to add it to the game CD.

I got the alternate ending and it was ....clever. It adds another possibility to things without ruining the ambivalence which made the original game so much fun. These guys (Or girls) are good. I'm not usually one for New Versions or Director's Cuts, but I'm glad I bought this one.
