Smiley456...I just went into my game and checked.

My Lich at Grandmaster in Air gets 17 hours and 58 min.

Cauri at Master in Air gets 1 hour and 18 min.

I don't know why your game and my game are different but that is what I get.

Well still haven't gone into the crystal but will soon.

I have been having problems with my computer and have had to format the hard drive not long ago and will have to format it again today or tommorow because installing a driver for my motherboard which seemed to be corrupt and it messed it up again. Jeez... It takes hours to download on dial-up and comes to me corrupt...sigh.

VH I feel your pain . Too bad there isn't a spell we could use to fix all our computer woes.

I'm going to try invisibility as soon as I GM in air. I think the Plane of Air will be my next stop. I'm in the Fire Castle (or whatever the heck it's called) and am getting beat up by a bunch of fire critters blocking a pathway.

Well in the mean time I went into the crystal and got as far as the portal. Now its time to play Simon says to open it.

I finished the game earlier I finished it with a level 62 Priest of the Sun and it took my party 3 years, 3 months and 8 days. But I missed the obelisk quest and collecting the acromage reward in exchange

That's strange, Since I only get 10 hours worth of invisibility for both Liches that are GM in Air.

Hmm.... perhaps you have some extra stuff (rings/amulets) with you that increases the effects of the Air spells

The crystal monsters are a pain even with a Priest of the Sun that uses GM in protection from magic.

How many times did you have to exit the crystal to heal your party?

Congrats Smiley Geez and I thought I was doing so well. I must have spent too much time shopping yesterday but on the upside I have over 400,000 gold I just started the search for the elemental hearts. I'm at the Air Castle right now doing damage to those air critters. Long way to go before I finish. I think my party is up to lvl 50 right now or darn close to that -

I swear I've hit all the taverns and won all the acromage contests but obviously not (I believe I had this same problem in M&M VII) Not sure if I want to hit them all again - but I might I'm also missing a couple obleisks but plan on getting them also - like I said - a long way to go before I finish.

The Air Castle is easier than the plane of earth
Level 50 is not a bad level

As for the taverns, don't forget that there's 2 taverns in Ravenshore & Alvar, but only 1 in the other parts (Shadowspire, Garrote Gorge, Ravage Roaming, Ironsand Desert, Murmurwoods, Regna & Dagger Wound Island)

So that's what those rings do...they must add extra time to the spells.

We freeded 3 of the Kings and are getting ready to free the last one.

My people are at different levels. A couple at level 60 something and one at 70 something and the last is 80.

My gold is at 1 million something because I haven't had to buy anything for a long time. I have just been selling stuff I don't need.

Where was all of this good stuff way back in the game when we really needed it?

I am here to report that the world is once again safe from evil. I just finished the game with my knight at lvl 62 and the rest of the party right around there. It took me two years, 11 months, 25 days (game time that is) I also had 1,170,233 gold in my pockets - could have had more but gave up selling stuff

Barb I loaded M&M9 in last night to get a look see - different isn't it? I'm still in the "trying to figure out how things work" stage. I at least figured out how to equip my group (I have two fighters and two spell caster guys/gals) Don't know how to cast spells yet. I even have resorted to "gasp" reading the manual

I am embarassed to admit that I can't seem to get thru the Abandoned Temple. There is a red trap on the floor that drops all back down to the room below. I have racked my brain for two days and can't think of an alternative. My Knight is the leader and the others are ready to level up, so I need to get out of there and move on. I have a cleric, necromancer and vampire. Those were the only choices so far and no one can JUMP or do any other fancy tricks. My Knight has Disarm Skills of 3. That does not seem to help. Any suggestions would be more than welcome. I think, in spite of this early stalemate, I may like this version of M&M the best of all. TIA~~

You have to follow the red path to the other side. Move the camera down so you can see where you are going and you should be able to make it across without falling.

Are you on the path that goes like a snake this way and that?
If so than do the above and you should be OK.

Don't be embarassed! It's been a long time since I've played this, but can't you use the vampire's levitation skill?

Wow. I would have NEVER thought of WALKING on the red trap-like part.

As for my vampire, if she can levitate she hasn't brought it up yet. So to speak!

Hi,

If you are talking about the path that looks like a snake...then its only a path and if you go off it then you will fall down to the bottom level. It is red because the person with Disarm Trap can see it and if you don't have Disarm Trap then you will not see anything red to follow.

There is also another area that the floor slides open and you have to push buttons on the four corners to open the door across from you or you will fall down to your death.

Hi, it's me - stuck in another temple! THis time I can't get past the front door of the Ravage Roaming (?) Temple of Eeps. Seems straightforward, but the door won't stay open. (And I have been really steaming thru lately - until this) I know it's probably going to be something really obvious?

Hopefully someone will come along who has played this more recently. Is that the temple where you have to jump to avoid the pressure plates that close off the doors?

If its the Temple where you need to find cheese then you have to get as close to the door as possible and use the jump spell to get through. Hope this helps.
