I will try it if I get that message again. I don't know why it is saying I didn't quit the game properly, I know I selected quit, grrrh!

Trail, that is not really helping, I still have to play in "safe mode" and just when I am moving along nicely, I will suddenly get a game freeze. What do I have to do, save every five minutes? Do you have other suggestions as to what to do, what else did you try?

I hope I don't get yelled at for stacking posts, but I need help. Besides constant crashes to desktop, I just save all the time, how do you give things to people, like the girls with hearts over their heads? Also can you go somewhere to spend on your strength, health, etc like I did towards the beginning? Hey I don't look that bad now, but I would like to gain some muscle, kind of skinny.

Hawka, you could probably get the most help posting at glitches, or by checking out the technical forum at the official site. It sounds like you are having way too many problems with the game to have any fun with it.

Well I was hoping that Trail would come and look since he was having problems running it also. Microsoft has been no help at all, of course. I am still having fun with it, just can't deal with the constant crashes and this is a gaming computer. Argh!!

Hawka, you spend your experience points back at the Academy. In the room with the big round map is a little alcove with a greenish light. Go in there to spend points.

I'm still wondering if this game doesn't like your dual-core processor. Maybe Trail will wander by yet.

I did find this place Fable TLC and was reading the forums. One suggestion there was to lower my refresh rate back to 60, default I think, I had it at 72. I am trying things one at a time. It is not programs running in the background, turning them all off didn't help. I was on the game for a couple of hours and no crashes, but it did have me playing in safe mode.

Now if I can get past all these bandits, first had to sneak, then so many to fight. I can't seem to pick them off with my bow and arrow. I was at the last of them right by the gate and I died, most likely cause I got stuck between a couple of them and couldn't move. I am off to look for more suggestions on this area, Twinblade.

I strictly used either my Obsidian Mallet or my Obsidian Axe. I've enhanced them with spells too. I did one with silver for the horrid werewolves.

I tried sneak with those bandits with absolutely no luck at all. I did find a rock to hide behind over by the gate after they opened it up and waited until they were out of site and ran through.

I haven't gone back there yet, I think I have the axe, but not the mallet. I went back to the fisherman and for some reason I no longer had a big fish. I know I saved after that cause I did lose the first big one that way. I don't have any spells yet, where are you getting them and how far into the game were you when you did. I did buy a new name, I was sick and tired of being called Chicken Chaser, now I am Sabre. I made it through on the sneaking, once I found the rock, but I need to up my strength and health some more. Luckily there is no limit of bandits to pick off in the Greatwood area, I spent another hour just going back and forth. I did have one crash, when I first restarted, then it went into safe mode. I just do the two or three saves thing, everytime I move forward, I save again. Saves the aggravation of having to restart a huge section. I think I will go back in for an hour until I have to start dinner.

My apologies for not replying earlier. Haven't checked this topic in awhile....

Nickie is right, the best thing to do is google for solutions. This game can be really hit and miss as far as issues go. I got so frustrated with it that I well...er...rebuilt a gaming PC. I ended up throwing together some "older" parts with a fresh install of XP and nothing else, not even virus protection (since I didn't intend to go out on the internet with it...)

Oh yea, and I use a steel katana with fire enhancement for takin' down the bad guys...and I would save Twinblades for way later in the game...

Hoo, boy. You are asking hard questions! I don't remember where I got these spells for my weapons, but I think I found them in some of the trunks.

I'd suggest doing a lot more and upping your stats before taking on Twinblade. He was really tough.

Mine is the issue where it just stops and there is my desktop. So far all day with the monitor lowered to 60, it is ok. I may consider taking off my desktop theme and resetting it to Windows XP, if I get any more problems. It is a pain to do the msconfig and it didn't seem to make any difference anyway.

So now that I am once again moving along and saving every ten minutes(good thing I am a save queen so it doesn't bother me). Where do I get these enhancements for my weapons, haven't found any yet. I went back for more when I found the giggler in the woods, arrow worked great, but she does move around alot. I see what you mean Draclvr, if you have a lot of motion in your game. I think I have enough points to up myself somemore.
