Hi I'm back again. I'm really stuck this time on what the generals, and I can only get the one general to talk. But everything I seems is due like if he says, A A and I reply B B it comes back with a minus sign on top. And I can only talk to one general, and when he comes up with the other lettering how do I reply to that. The walk-throughs got me confused, and somebody get me a simple direction in what to say to the first general.

Norm,

I had a hard time on this puzzle and stopped playing the game at this part.
I have a saved game sent to me.
I sent it to you. See if that helps.

Norm -- when I played this bit, the general always opens by sending out "BB," so I always responded with "AA" for the first sending.

After that, as far as I could tell, what the general sends is randomly generated. The way you respond, though, is by repeating back to him what he just said, but either adding or subtracting omega. So if he sends you "A B" for instance, you would respond with "A B Omega." If he sends you "A B Omega" you would respond with "A B."

There are three rounds to the challenge. In the first round, just one general sends pheromones to you. If you pass that round, then two generals send pheromones to you, and you have to switch back and forth between them. If you pass the second round, then for the final round three generals send pheromones to you, and you have to switch back and forth between the three.

It's pretty tough! From what I've read, hardly anybody gets by it without resorting to a saved game.

MaG thank you for the save game. It helped me to finish the game. This game is really a bummer. I did not enjoy playing, this game but I had to finish it one way or another. I appreciate all the help out their that I got for this game.

I am having problems even with the first lock!

She says: Here is the north-west hatch. Proceed with the maneuver ...

I am in front of the circle with the lights going around, the arm pointed to the center, what do I do now?

Maneuver to insert the end of the arm right at the very center of the lock. Then enter the code as soon as you get the frame. luck Patience is the key and quick-steady hands.
