A couple of the more "Never Give Up!" type of moderators here at GameBoomers have been in a conversation with Bryan Wiegele (creator of the Delaware St. John series) to try to persuade him to continue the Delaware St. John adventures sooner than he was originally anticipating. Many of us love this series of games, and we have questions about the continuing story and the future adventures of the characters, etc. that we'd like to see answered! Recently, we've received an encouraging response from Bryan, and it would appear that now might be the time to let the GameBoomers Delaware fans join the behind-the-scenes encouragement process. If you stop by the Delaware St. John website, you'll notice that a new story has been added -- Alone: Asylum of The Lost Prologue -- the story/prologue to Delaware St. John Volume 4! For more background on the Delaware St. John series, you can read the GameBoomers' reviews: Volume 1: The Curse of Midnight Manor by nickie and Volume 2: The Town with No Name by Inferno and Volume 3: The Seacliff Tragedy by nickie. And find out more by reading the GameBoomers' interviews -- with developer Bryan Wiegele here and here, as well as an unusual interview with a character from the series, Kelly Bradford here. Here's hoping that we'll see a Delaware Volume 4 -- with the features we enjoyed in the first three games, and perhaps even more depth in story and gameplay....

I played volume 3 not long ago, and was disappointed that there wouldn't be a 4, so this good news.

I know of Bryan's malaise stemming from the (sometimes brutal) side of not creating - but getting your game out there. It hits us all at varied times. Count me in as one "gamer" who is definitely behind more Delaware. The original concept is strong, the games have been getting more interesting with each new episode & I was happy to see the evolution of his work with each game I played. (have them all in my personal collection for a fact.) Sort of the same way I feel about the Carol Reed collection of games Big thanks from the this gamer!

Excellent news Becky. And many thanks to the "Never Give Up!" moderators too, well done! I always enjoy Delaware games (MaG, keep the save for the timed sequence, I'm sure there will be one and I will be needing it! )

Bryan has always been exceptional about being responsive to the people who play his games. I hope we see this one and many more to come!

If you haven't yet purchased the first three Delaware St. John games, they are available at Interact CD (the yellow link at the top of the page) -- The Curse of Midnight Manor and The Seacliff Tragedy are selling there for $14.99 and The Town with No Name is selling for $9.99. The Seacliff Tragedy's price has recently been reduced on Amazon -- you can get it there for $10.99. Confusingly, you can also get it on Amazon for $9.59. If you want to download the games instead of purchasing the boxed version, you can do that at The Adventure Shop, where The Curse of Midnight Manor and The Town with No Name (Delaware St. John, Volumes 1 and 2) are $11.99 and The Seacliff Tragedy (Delaware St. John Volume 3) is $19.99. GamersGate has two of the games available for download -- Volume 2, The Town with No Name and Volume 3, The Seacliff Tragedy -- both for $11.99.

It's good to hear there will be another Chapter released - I too thought I had heard there would be no more and I was disappointed then am happy now to be 'expecting' another one in this series. Thanks for the news. Love, Betty Lou

I have never played a Delaware St. John game before . It seems a lot of you all love these games. So it looks like I will just have to add these ones to my wish list . I love mystery games so these ones should fit well into my collection. Thanks Becky for bringing Delaware St. John games to my attention. Sounds like I been missing out on some good games.
