And you can be proud that you helped so many people. And the best part: your walkthroughs will help people in the future, even if you really will burn out all your brain cells (which god may prevent).

I too want to add my thanks to MaG for her wonderful walkthroughs. Everybody before me said it so much better than I could but I couldn't let this thread go past without praising MaG and all the help she's given me over the years. Today, before I buy a game, I check and see if MaG's written a walkthrough for it yet. If not, I wait. lol

Thank you, dear MaG, not only for your clever gaming ability, but for having the patience to map and take notes (which you must have to do during each game), then type out the walkthroughs. I tried to do this once and appreciate how correct and painstaking it is and must be!

Thank you MaG for your walkthroughs. I too look for your walkthrough before I buy a game now because not only are your walkthroughs so complete, I love how you explain how the game works at the beginning. It helps me evaluate the game and decide if it is one I will enjoy or not.

Once I decide to get the game and find it, I come home and print up the walkthrough. It takes the frustration factor out just to know I have MaG's walkthrough there just in case I have no idea what to do next.

Thanks MaG for all you do!!! praise

I must admit... I really do appreciate your WTs. As an impatient multi-genre gamer, i am into story, sights, action, and sounds and I can't bear to work out all the tough puzzles. Your WTs allow me to progress far enough to appreciate the best in adventure games. If Lonely Planet has made the world's countries more approachable to travellers by their travel guides, your WTs have made adventure games very friendly indeed to me and other adventure gamers. Keep up the great work. Perhaps someday, you could publish your work in print as well.

I've learned over the years that there are walkthroughs--and then there are the walkthroughs that MaG writes: clear, concise, making sure to include all important details, taking the time to explain things in such a way that the reader is able to follow and not get lost, pictorial reinforcement for difficult puzzles!

Writing a walkthrough like that is an ART, and MaG is a master of her CRAFT! bravo hearts

I'm not good at this! I don't like joining in with crowds, but I have stayed away as long as I can, but now I just have to join in and add my thanks too, because I surely do agree with everyone and everything that has been said here, and then some!
What broke down my resistance was the Acceptance Speech link provided by BrownEyedTigre. I felt every bit as emotional as Sally Field, doggone it. Except, of course, it was for an award for MaG for all her great work.

To love is to be happy with!

Yep, I've said it before and I'll say it again ... MaG is the best! It's not just the technical how-to-solve-it or where-do-I-go-now sticky problems that she addresses in her amazing walkthroughs. It's the fact that they are so well written with clear explanations and just the right amount of information that make them so exceptional.

That's how I found Gameboomers too. I was looking for help with an adventure game when I stumbled onto this site and I've become a dyed-in-the-wool Boomer and adventure gamer ever since. I didn't venture past the walkthroughs for a long time, but once I took the time to explore the site, I was hooked and couldn't believe all the fun I had been missing. The moderators and members here are all very special people and this site has become my daily internet home.

So what's MaG's secret? She's exceptionally intelligent and articulate with a generous heart and she's wise enough to surround herself with the right people to keep Gameboomers up and running smoothly every day. Either that or she's an Adventure Goddess masquerading as a mere mortal. I haven't decided which it is yet. I'm voting on the former.
