Soooo, what's happening?

Leveling up my Tinezard and Jum Jum for the huge fairy fight in the Realm of Clouds. Got everybody else up, but these 2 guys need more work.

I haven't had time to play yet, how the heck did you get there so quickly? Jeez, I take forever.

Draclvr, maybe folks are so into the game they aren't coming out.

Drac, you COULD keep us up to date on your progress. That way we could re-experience the game through you.

I am also replaying IJ and the Infernal Machine. And have been hooked on it. Also My neighbor and I have been watching movies during the day. We watched The Rose and A Star Is Born(1976)yesterday. I plan on playing some today.
I like the game and plan on finishing it.

I've been busy with "real life" the last couple of days and have had no time to play. But I think I am going to have some time tonight. When I last left off, I had gotten the fairy card of nature and had gone to the enchanted hut in the woods. I'll be looking to get rid of more bushes this evening.

I'm heading back in right now. I still have to get my Minari and Jum Jum up to level 40 before I take on the Shadow Elf in the Arena in the Cloud Realm. I'm going in with Tinezard, Bue and Garbat all at level 40 with those first two. I thought about taking in my Psi fairy Mentaur, but decided to try with these first.

Like Marian real life reared it's ugly head and until I can bury it again I won't be playing much. My boss is leaving on vacation week after next and since he says he has to get all his stuff caught up (that and he's decided to change how we do things) it's causing much meheim to my in-box, my out-box and most of my office

Drac, I'd be interested to know how your fairies do at the arena. I've used very different fairies at that point and have wondered what the others would do.

Well, Melia, I hammered them the second time I tried. However, I was not happy with the way my Tinezard and my Garbat performed. So I reloaded the game (saved like a good girl before I went in!) and went back to London and got my Mentaur and a water fairy - Ceramnis. Played a bit and then just went in to see how these two new fairies did. After 2 tries I won with Ceramnis at level 17, Mentaur at level 27, Bue at level 41, Jum Rock at level 38 and Minari at level 38. Basically I won with Bue. He just rocks against those dark and chaos fairies. I didn't even use Minari and she really smacks them down too.

This is totally different that what I played with the first time. However, I don't remember what I had that time!

Draclvr, didn't you just restart this game recently? How do get them leveled up so fast, I think I must be doing something wrong, it takes me forever.

I don't use any cheats at all. What I like to do is get a couple of them leveled up to about 30. I find out which fairies they are really strong against and only fight them. For instance I leveled my Tinezard up really fast by only fighting the Ice Fairies on the Mountain Peak. You get tons of points each time you beat one of the level 30+ fairies. Then I take my new weak fairies along and put them in the first place. I take them in to the fight and immediately take them out and win the fight with the strong fairy. That goes fast too.

Bue, Minari...add the strongest fairies I had which were Glacess, Suane, Boneria, and Oceana and we could get an unbeatable combination next time we play.

That's a great strategy for leveling up the fairies, Draclvr, and I have taken note. I have been leveling up my fairies in what I can see now is a very boneheaded and inefficient way!

I think I have some the same thing Marian, is this like paper, scissors stone, what can beat what? The fairies that I am using now are Boneria L46, Symgot L40, Oceania L36, Tinzard L31, JumJum L24. In my book I have Mentaur(2), Blumella(5), Pfoe, Rasrow, Vesbat, Greez, Luria, Darbue, Sirael, Cera, Tinefol(3), Tadana, Viteria, Gorael, Lana(2), Skelbo, Abnoberry (2), Stobat, Gremor, Goop, Worgot (3), Corgot(3), and Abery. Are any of these fairies worth leveling up and who do I level them against. I think I shouldn't of collected so many of the same ones as now I won't have as many to fight. I always forget what I have already captured. Oh well!! Can I throw some of them back, hehehe.

I try to only get one of each kind, but sometimes I forget too. I think I have 2 Lanas and 2 of something else. I won my last game with one of the bears I had leveled up to 60 - Greezloc - I think. He was really tough at that level. The other one I leveled up to 60 last time that was just great was Fathrael. I would also highly recommend leveling up your Darbue. He is just my best fairy at beating just about every type in the game I'm playing right now.

I'm going to have to check a walk-through to see where I can get a Segbuzz so I can get past that guy in Dunmore. He was available to fight and get after I beat the Shadow Elf in the Cloud Realm, but I could never get the option to catch him. I double checked that I had enough gold and crystal orbs to capture him with, but even after I played the last fight about 10 times I still never got the option to catch him. I sure hope I get another chance somewhere else.

Arrgh!! My Darbue is only at an 11 right now, this will take forever. What fairies are best to level him up with? I checked my w/t, it says to get Segbuzz, you have to first have Suane follow you, then trade for her in Tiralin. I have been up in the Realm of the Clouds, but didn't run into Suane yet. My latest fights have been in the mountains with the ice bears, working on Tinezard. Tomorrow means no games, have to go to Hilo, 50 + miles each way and need to be home by 2pm. Rush rush rush.

I'm actually leveling up Darbue right now; I never had him at all in my last game, but after reading what Draclvr said I decided to pick him up this time.

I hope your trip to Hilo goes smoothly, hawkavonpuka. Maybe this weekend we will both have more time to play the game.

Oceana and Boneria have always been great fighters for me. Another one was Suane.

I just captured Glacess, she is only L9, should I work on her or Greez at L12. Of course Darbue died and I am plum out of healing herbs. I guess I better take him to the trainer befor I tackle more ice fairies. I like Boneria too, she was my first fairy and pretty good, need to up her levels some more

Yup, found out about Suane and Segbuzz in the walkthrough. I couldn't remember! Did the trade and took on the Great Tree battles in the Misty Swamp. My Level 43 Symgot just about won all four by himself! I had to bring in my Level 43 Lighbue (Darbue/Bue/Lighbue) to clean up and my level 41 Tinezard really helped a lot too.

Hawka, Darbue rocks against Water Fairies for one. When he was at the lower levels, I took him to the Fairy Garden just before you get to the cottage. If you have the Conch to call Water Fairies, you can run in the stream for battles against level 20+ Water Fairies. Combine that with the tree and the two rocks in this area and you can level him up pretty fast. Another place I leveled him up was the 3 waterfalls past the cottage after you get the card where you can blow up the rocks and get to the place where the guy is with the Ice Fairies.

Of course, after they get to where they need 500 points to level up, I start buying the carrots to help out. I like to keep at least $3,000 - $4,000 in coins at the ready!

I loved my Suane, my Boneria and Oceania too. I didn't let Tadana evolve this time so I may not get Oceania this time. I want my Suane BACK!

I got him two more levels up with the Dunmore trainer, I am heading to the fairy garden and the waterfalls. I have the rock card, that is why I was working on JumJum since he is so very slow. Maybe I just just switch him out when I come to a rock.

This time I traded my Jum Jum after he evolved into Jum Rock. The guy in Tirilin gave me a mushroom guy called Fygaery. He looks like he'll really be a good once I get him leveled up. He's at level 28 now and is really doing great.
