i haven't made it to the trainer yet. can't get past the first fight

That's great, my9! If it makes it easier for you, you don't have to fly when you're fighting.

He is not there, I have searched the whole place. I have not yet defeated the elf in that small area, I can see that it goes down so that once I do, I can explore more. The Druid is now by the big arena where the elf has nine fairies, but no merchant anywhere. I did the sparkly thing that made the round steps come out, I fell too, but I wanted to get the pixie. I think I busted all the rocks before I got sick cause I am carrying a stone fairy again (just in case I missed some) and I don't see any rocks. According to the w/t's, the merchant should be neat the Realm of the Clouds rune, but he is nowhere to be seen. I can't get to the Cathedral yet, no air card, can't get on top of the hills with goody bags either. I see the island with the waterfall in the sky, but don't know how to get there. I hate combing through this area, there are so many fairies, easy to fight, but takes away from my searching for the merchant time.

when you go back to endeva, do you have to fight rufus ?

My9, you can use the trainer who is an elf walking along the stream at Endeva. You don't have to defeat Rufus or Seamus or any of the Fairy Masters to use him. You get a Nature Fairy who won't shoot back at you. Plus you get coins at the end.. what a deal! Get your fairy up to at least a level 10 before you take on Rufus.

Hawka, that doesn't sound like the right place. There wasn't a pixie at the top of the columns, but I don't remember what it was. I'm going to get a screenshot and post a link for you to see if you are getting to this place.

It's not the greatest picture, but you can see the three paths. The middle one goes to the small arena, the left goes to the place where you have to blow up a rock to get to and the columns are on the right. To get there go to the Cloud Realm rune circle. It's sort of between those two towers you have to go down. If you stand on the rune circle, go down the left tower. You have to go through a "worm hole" or whatever those swirly things are. Right around the corner is this place and the spell guy is right there before you go across the bridge.

My9, I don't think I fought Rufus for awhile, but if you fight his fairies and lose, you can always try again later, no harm done.

edit here, I went back and took a look and it is that little creepy elf that is blocking my way. I have yet to beat him. I think it is time to try again.

Ah, OK. I didn't remember that's where the nasty little thing was. That's a tough fight, but you do get your Suane there to trade for Segbuzz in Tirilin.

It is just that regular dark elf, not the one that all nine came at once. My fairies should be able to beat him, but I just can't keep up with the fairy switching.

Edit here: I finally got the little $#@%, finally he came up with a set of fairies mine could deal with, not easy, but done and saved. But, as soon as I saved which I did before fixing my deck, I got the shaky graphics and Amy's head fell off for the billioneth time. I had to get out of the game to reboot the computer. That seems to be the only thing that fixes it.

No way! I thought you had the issue with Amy's head falling off fixed. What a bummer. I called him many worse things myself. I think I beat him abut 2:30 am one Saturday night/morning and called him a really bad name and said, "HAH!"

I swear I'm going to end up with 3 computers networked together one day. I can't give up my old 98SE and this XP has handled everything I've every thrown at it with it's relatively puny graphics card. I'll probably build a smoking gamer some day and have to keep the other 2 besides!

All I can say, my9, is level those fairies up and you will beat him hands down!

how do i level them up? i am in tiralin, and the faries i have are silla (l-14), worgot(l-8), and tadena (l-2)

Go to the elf trainer walking along the stream in Endeva, he trains for free and gives you coins. Later on when you go to Dunmore, you can pay for training with higher level fairies. Did you do everything in the shops? You will need to purchase the Dunmore rune so you can teleport there.

all i have is 3 crystals. who do i get the dunmore rune from. i am still working on fighting seamus

You buy it in the shop, I forgot if it is the first or second one, you pay for it with gold. Did you get the cottage rune, it is near to the scarecrow. To train with the free elf, you have to rune or walk back to Endeva. The rune for Tiralin is in Dunmore. Once you level up higher than is isn't so scary to walk through the forests and being attacked constantly. But each time to win a fight, you get more points. The higher the level of the fairy you fight, the more points you get. You should try to get each of your fairies up to level 10, change the order of the deck so the weakest goes first, then jump in with the strongest to finish the fight. The trainer in Dunmore charges 60 gold but you can collect gold on the fighting arena as you move around.

what i don't understand is how to change them when fighting

You can change them by using the center scroll button of your mouse, or just use the numbers on your keyboard 1 - 5. When in the game you can press F1, then use your arrow keys to scroll to the next pages. There is alot of information there that I only recently found, grrh, wish I knew about it back in the beginning of the game.

i got the rune of dunmore, so i can go there instead of fighting seamus?

You can go back and fight him later when your fairies are stronger. If you have enough Gold, use the trainer in Dunmore. Check all the houses and pick up all the goodies in them. Don't forget to look for the Tiralin ruin so you can hop back easily.

Hi every one no matter which way I put it in

On this cheat you can't play from autostart, you have to exit that and restart the game from the Zanzarah icon with the cd in the drive. To open the cheat within the game, use F11 key.

what is the console suppose to help with and what does it do?

I'll let Hawka answer that question because I don't use the cheats. I think you can get coins and change out fairies without runing to London and stuff like that.

One reason you should try to beat Seamus as soon as your fairies are strong enough is the scarecrow in the garden will give you free mana for your fairies. Of course you do have to defeat a fairly weak Chaos fairy first. Seamus will also give you the Pixie bag so you can catch the dratted little things. Once you get rid of the one in the potion sellers house, you can buy stuff from her. There is also a magic merchant in the cottage by the scarecrow and Seamus will give you stuff for each 5 pixies you catch.
