This is cool, I am running back and forth in the streams and Darbue does rock. He gets rid of those water fairies sometimes with one shot. I let Greez jump in too. I sure wish I knew about this before, Darbue has been sitting in my book for quite some time. I think I will trade JumJum too after he breaks all the rocks and evolves. I am going into the forest to find the higher level water fairies, I need to hurry this up.

So how is everyone doing? I'm training up my Lighane. Does anyone else have the same trouble with her being so sloooowww that she barely moves forward at all? It drives me nuts. She is my least favorite fairy to train of all of them. She just evolved in Driane and is STILL slow, slow, slow. She can fly quite high, but the forward movement is horrid. She did the same thing the last time I played.

I am doing well with your tips on training. I found that Greez trains well on the air fairies, but not as well as Darbue did on the water ones. I got tired of the waterfalls and am now in the clouds, but will return to the water soon to level up Bue some more. I have JumJum at 30 (when will he ever evolve to Jumrock) Bue 27, Greez 25, the rest are in mid 30's and 40's, but I haven't been training them. Symgot does well on the fairies in the Dark Caves, all around he is pretty good, needs to level up higher though. I have been to Monagham, got stuck trying to beat the master in the realms, so I can't move ahead there yet. Tryed to beat the master with all ice fairies, I think that is basically impossible unless you have all five with fire and melt them off. The only way I leveled up JumJum is to put him first, then immediately remove him and fight the others. Right now my hand and wrist are too sore to play anymore, too many fairy fights.

I think I beat the Ice Fairy guy with one Tinezard at level 35 or something like that. I let the other ones do a little damage and then brought him in to "clean up."

I got out of the game and reloaded it to see if it would help with the Lighane/Driane slowness issue and it did. When I started the game up again, she's quite speedy. I did some checking and there is a bug in the game that keeps your fairy in the slow mode after a poison. Sometimes it fixes itself when they level up, but sometimes you have to reload the game.

I'm sore this morning too, but I went in town with hubby and helped him plant 52 tomato and 24 pepper plants earlier. His back is really sore this week and he can't bend over. My arms even hurt to hold them up to type this! I think I'm getting too old for this! But then I'm looking at 192 tomato plants and 80 pepper plants to put in out here next week! I'd say I was a glutton for punishment, but really I just like to eat good stuff!

You beat all five ice fairies with one Tinezard? Wow, mine is L34 and I gave up. Actually I didn't even try to fight them, I just dove my fairies over the edge. I will try again with some of my better fairies later. What are the fairies that the master at the arena have, are those the Chaos ones? Also the ones that look like men, what beats these. I need a lesson on what fairy can beat what fairy.

I had a hard time with that also - figuring out the rock/paper/scissors heirarchy like you said! The guys are Dark or Chaos Fairies I think. It took all of my guys at high levels, but my Minari and my Symgot really saved the day.

I found a little chart that says the strengths and weaknesses of the Fairies, I wish I had this a long time ago. Rock can defeat energy and air, real quick way of getting JumJum up there. I think he will be evolving soon. For anyone that wants it, it is at www.aillse.com along with a walkthrough and a location of all the fairies.

I am stuck cause I can't get the Air Card yet and I don't think I can until I can defeat all those fairies, yikes. I can't even defeat five (in the realm of the clouds)one at a time, let alone all nine of them. So I am off to various locations to beef up my team.

Oh, I SOOO bookmarked that site! Yup. You have to beat the guy in the Cloud Realm and then you still have to beat Blumella and her crew past the Forest Hut to get the Fire Card. THAT was a tough fight.

I missed the stepping stones the dwarf put up and fell down the crevice, screaming all way. Sometimes it would be nice if we could control Amy's gait. Hmmn, I didn't know that info was in the game, did I read the manual, not really. Anyway, I printed it out, sure would have saved me many many hours of gameplay.

I beat the metal fairies, turned all to rust with Oceana, cool.

Wah, I want to cry. I traded my JumRock with the elf in Tiralin and now have that mushroomy fairy with a Level zero. Oh where do I take him to get him up there quickly. I realized my mistake too late cause I already saved, shame on me, JumJum was really good when he leveled up and was even shooting spells quickly. I think that elf in Tiralin is laughing at me, poor JumRock, I had him since the beginning, I wonder if he misses me too.

I traded my Jum Jum for the mushroom guy too. But I really like him. I went to the trainer to get him up to level 10, then took him along with Minari and then with Goreal in the Dark Caves as I was leveling them up. I got him up to a level 41 pretty fast and he's really tough. For my Stone Fairy I'm using Garbat this time.

I am going to take him back to the mountains with Tinezard and the waterfalls with Bue. If I ever get the key for the Dwarf Factory, I want to get that Minari that you have. I still haven't beaten the elf in the Clouds with the five fairies yet, but I have come close. Even using the number keys, I haven't been able to change them out as fast as the game does. Sigh!!

I feel your pain! It took me a week to defeat the elf in the Cloud Realm! I hate that fighting stage too. Not as bad as I hate the snakey spiral though.

i just started ths game and figured out you have to be fast and able to move just rght to fight those fairies. i am in the fairie forest tryin to fight my first fight

My9rugrats, it will become easier as you level up your fairy. The Level 0 Fygaery that I just got couldn't do anything even at the trainers. I think the fairy you start with isn't that weak, which one did you pick?

i picked the nature fairy. i got by the fairy at the big tree but came across an elf that challenged me and lost that battle. am going to just keep plugging away
if i under stand this right i use my left mouse to fight the fairies , the manual is to small print for me to read . so am having a hard time understanding the manual

Yes, the left mouse button is for firing, but hold it down until you here the drum roll for the most powerful shot of spells. We don't hold after that as the spell will backfire on your fairy. Happens to me all the time when they run off, more so with the faires that fire slowly. Take your fairy to the elf trainer in Endeva, that fairy doesn't shoot back, you can practice aiming. My problem early on was capturing multiples of the same fairy and wasting my spheres. Right clicking the mouse makes your wings flap and you fly, be careful not to fall off the edge of the fighting arena. You can practice flying and landing with the trainer too. I started with the nature fairy too and she is a level 46 and pretty speedy.

Try turning up the volumn or headphones, maybe it isn't exactly like a drum, but there is a noticeable different sound. There is also a color change, a purple hue.

is there a certain spot on them crazy fairies to shoot at? for some reason i am jsut not getting any where

My9, when you hold down the left mouse button during a fight you should hear sort of a loud hum sound that becomes louder the longer you hold it down. You hear a single "drum" sound when your shot is almost totally powered up. If you are at the trainer at Endeva, just practice holding and powering up your shots until you get the hang of it. Just watch your points on the left so you don't run out of mana which is what you need to take the shots. You have to do several things at once. You have to fly up, go forward, turn to face the opponent fairy and power up and release a shot! Don't worry. It just takes practice.

Hawka, I'm using my gamepad and the WSAD keys, the F key for flying, E for the game menu and the mouse for moving around and picking up stuff. It really works great.

Draclvr, did you have to program it for that, I use the w and s keys on the gamepad, didn't try the others. I guide Amy with my mouse and use left to fight and right to fly. I have room for the keyboard on the desk so I just that for the enter stuff, of course I have the console so need F11 from time to time.

I am having a major issue finding a magic merchant that is supposed to be in the Realm of the Clouds. I want to boost up either Sireal or Goreal to Fathrael so I can trade him off for something (forget what it is now). But I can't find the merchant to buy spells for him, he is supposed to be in the area where you first meet the Druid. Well the Druid is now by the arena, where did the merchant disappear to? This guy is the only one that sells Air spells, he is supposed to have Light spells also. Hope you are still up.

Yes, I programmed the gamepad keys for the E (game menu) and the F (flying). Then I use the 1 - 5 keys to switch out fairies. I think this gamepad has become a permanent extension of my left hand!

The merchant is right by the long bridge before you get to the FIRST arena type place. It's not the one where you fight the really bad Shadow Elf. After you pass by the Magic Merchant and go across the bridge, there is a place on the left where you have to blow up a rock, straight ahead is the small arena and to the right is a ruins type place where if you go down into it there is another rock to blow up. There are also air eddies in this place to go to the top of a column and set off one of those sparkly things that makes steps up there. I think I fell off 20 times.
