This looks like a pretty good game, a new interactive HOG (IHOG?). For those of us still undecided about buying the Samantha Swift game, or waiting for a credit, and looking for something to entertain!

You have to find the pieces of items, put them together, and figure out how to use them. I played about 10 minutes of the demo, and I liked it so far.

It's up at Alawar. I searched on BFG, and I don't think it's there yet. I did a search because these game titles seem to kind of run together lately, don't they? How many titles have "treasure", "mystery", or "island"? Enough to confuse me!

Played the demo last night and I really like it. Does BF get these games?

It's not a short game either. Lots of interaction and going back and forth between places before a level is finished. The hint system builds up fast, so it's always there if you need it.

It's a lot like Magic Encyclopedia, but there are much more parts to the many object to find in each level.

There's also an extra element where there are about 50 cards, not sure of number , where you have to find 10 items associated with the type of person on the card. These come up randomly I think.

Some things are hard to find, but the hint that is there comes back fairly quickly after being used, and this helps a lot. And I don't think there is a timer.

I will buy this game if BFG gets it.

Flo

I just played the demo and it is a lot of fun you have a lot of neat things to do and no timer either. I love the animation in it too. I hope that BFG gets this one you feel like your in the islands with this game.

I played the demo too and really enjoyed it, but am waiting for BFG to get it. Something about the difference between $19.99 and $6.99 makes me wait even though it is hard when the game is so much fun. hardwall

Hi Mysteryfantic,I'm past that part crazyPut out all the pieces of cheese first, starting at the exit pick te shortest route make sure the cheese isn't blocked by the walls.put the last piece where the mouse will see it,and he will eat his way to the end! Good luck it took a few times before I got it wave

I may not have gone where I intended to go,but I think I have ended up where I need to be.

Stuck on burning a hole. Does anyone know how to use the magnifying glass to burn a hole in the straw. I've been trying for ages, but can't get any further forward.

Sorry puzzlefiend, I looked in previous threads and can't find any tips. Hopefully someone who has played will help you shortly.

puzzlefiend,

Move that lens up and down. Check the area where there is a lot more smoke coming out. Try to maintain that area.
Then just keep on moving the lens and eventually the straw will burn and the hole on the ship is seen..

I found the walkthrough at gamezebo with a picture which worked for me the first time. I just finished the game and it is fun lot of things to find and put together but, I found it very enjoyable to play. And no timer either.
