Do you have the #8 pattern at top right of the screen?
Start with a blank puzzle and follow the step by step.

I have selected code #8 pattern at top right of screen. Then I follow step by step - have tried it several times but no luck - WT says Clidk D 7 3 C 7 C D B 2 8 B A. Is this correct? Will try again - maybe I goofed? Thx for your help though. wave

GeeGee, I just wondered if you're making the same mistake I did. Are you clicking to put the pattern on the screen, and then clicking that sequence after that? You don't put the pattern on the screen first, it's just an illustration to show you where you will be clicking on the blank screen. The sequence is correct.

Well, that way Nickie suggested does NOT work for me! How annoying! What exactly must I do here? I MUST insert the coded magnetic card before I can even start click the puzzle. I did this and didn't select code 8, just left it. The pattern that shows up after entering numbers and letters per WT does NOT even look like the one for #8! Something has to be wrong! Hope someone can help me get past this very perplexing puzzle. The one to get card coded for #5 earlier worked just fine. Why won't this one? Thx in advance. Cheers wave smile

1. Insert the card.
2. Change the pattern at top right to #8 using the arrow at the side. This means that is the pattern that you want to copy.
3. Then follow the step by step - using blank puzzle - no red lines.
Click D 7 3 C 7 C D B 2 8 B A.
Good luck.

Ok - will try it yet again! Thanks so much for trying to help me here smile

EDIT: Still doesn't work! Talk about frustration! Maybe a save game would be the way to go? I could also go back a bit and replay to see if this problem can be resolved? Let me know your thoughts here pls. Thx again. Have to go out for evg now. Will check in later. Bye now wave smile

Do you know why you need a #8 card?
Did you look close at the armory door and see #8?
