Andrea, this game is soooooooooooo much fun. If you get the imported you will get a real manual and some other goodies, but the US version is cheaper and it is also censored if that matters to you.

L4L, How or where do I get the imported version? Is the price difference that big? I don't care that much about censorship unless the uncensored one is totally gross. At my age not too much bothers me.

Andrea, I got my UK edition from Interact (yellow link at top of the page.) Dave has both editions available to you can compare for yourself.

I think there might be $20.00 difference in price, but with the import you get Bonus content such as Behind the Scenes, a paper manual,a game guide, and the book the game came from, and a separate soundtrack.

There is one place where you will see full frontal nudity and some of the NPC's will say vulgar things in passing, but that is all I've seen and the vulgar remarks are not often.

I was worried about this one because of what I read about the fighting, but really, I don't spend that much time fighting and since I'm playing on easy, there is a visual cue to tell me when to click--so I actually find that I prefer this to my normal "clickfest" style. puppy

Yes, whichever version you get (import or US) you for sure want the enhanced version. It will have all the patches and new content already installed so will save you some possible hassles. wave

Well, pace impatiently until it comes, then install it and join the rest of us in our Geralt addiction :rotfl12:

I installed mine to see if it would run--yeah, right :happydance12:

luv2travel, do a little search on this game here on The Darkside and you will find numerous subjects which got to the limit of number of pages and we had to start a new one!

Several people are on their 3rd, 4th or even 5th play as there are so many decisions and options in the game. Once you get used to the different fighting style, you will probably love it. I know I do - it sure beats clicking madly. The plot is first rate and Geralt is pretty darned easy to look at too!

Gardens put to bed for the winter. Time for some gaming!

Where do you find Siegfried? I have 10 drowned dead tongues and he's nowhere to be found now.

I track the quest on the map and it leads me to the guard post, I go inside and he's not there ever. I've been there at noon, midnight, in the morning, in the afternoon and no luck.

I've checked near the gate where he was one time, but no luck there either.

Does he go somewhere else?

I haven't advanced the main quest hardly any, so it shouldn't be anything to do with that I'd hope.

There's a point in the story where Siegfried goes somewhere else on the map.

Click to reveal..
You can find him in the Swamp, in the Woodcutter's Clearing area
