Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me, I am getting stuck after nicole fixes the computer and sends pictures off, she goes downstairs and the phone rings it freezes. I have read some of the help on here about unclicking some of the boxes in graphics but still have issues. Any help is appreciated. any patches yet that you know of? I cannot find any.
Thanks,
sunita puppy

There are no patches that I'm aware of, and the video requirements are fairly low for this game.

Can you post the specs for your PC? (Processor, Ram, Video Processor, DirectX etc...)

There is now a patch available from the publisher.

It didn't fix my issue with the 2nd half of almost every dialog being cut off, but it might fix yours.

Good luck

Doe's anyone know what this patch is suppose to do. It's less than a mb and there is no discription on the site about what it is suppose to fix.

By the look of what it installs, I think it is mostly dialog text tweaks, though I may be wrong.

Thanks gremlin. You'd think with all the complaints about crashing and locking up and other things that they would address those things in a patch. Oh well maybe later.

I have the same issue of the game locking up and when trying to install the patch it says I don't have the game installed on my machine. I just bought this computer last week so it can't be outdated graphics, etc. I tried unclicking the graphics boxes and the only thing that happens is my cursor stops working altogether. How do people get past the bottom of the stairs after sending the photos to the FBI?

scared Ok so it appears that this game isn't very Vista friendly. I'm playing it with Windows XP and got past that part anyway. idea

If you have a downloaded version of the game, the patch probably won't recognize it.

Assuming you have the disc version, you could try copying the patch to the game folder before running it (the way you would with a patch back in the 1990's).
