Does this game never end? I'm on level 25 and stuck on a match 3. Has anyone had this problem where there isn't a viable match? I've made a print screen of it but don't know how to get it posted here. confused

Wow! You are FAST! I read the FAQ's about posting an image but it refers to using a personal web page. I don't have one of those. Am I looking in the wrong place? Sorry to be so dense.

Joanie, there are sites such as www.photobucket.com where you can have an account for free. You then upload the pictures you want to share to that account.

Then you copy the Direct Link info, and come here.

You use the Switch to Full Reply Screen button at the bottom of the post box.

You select the first icon on the top--a world with a link--paste the link into that.

Click ok.

Put in a name such as Find the Star and click ok.

Submit the post. luck

Are you kidding me level 25- I think I am on level 16 and play a couple every day just to try this finish this darn game. I don't even like it just want to finish it LOL
Seems another couple of weeks of perservering going to happen here.

This must be the most overrated game in history LOL
edit: just wanted to add - never in my life did I think I would complain about a game being too long- this one just is!

LOL looney

I am probably a bit harsh with my comments there but this does feel like a never ending game as Joanie stated.

Hope you get through that match 3 Joanie. smile

I finished the game a few days ago. Initially I enjoyed it, but by the time I got to level 15 or so I was indeed ready for the game to end. There just wasn't enough variety in the color scheme and objects to maintain my interest.

It was indeed a relief to get the boat working and get off the island, but perhaps not for the reason that the developers might have intended. wink

Still, I will say that it was worth my game credit. In a few months when the game isn't so fresh in my mind, I will probably consider playing it again.

I know - I just played out level 16 and then was presented with level 17 with about 8 places I have already been too 12 times searching for stuff.

Is the ending really great and worth all this repetitive work towards? I am expecting big things here after all this LOL

Not really. But there is a mildly interesting puzzle at the end that I felt good about solving, because I can be dense beyond belief about this stuff sometimes. The real payoff for me, though, was knowing that I had actually finished the game, because it always bothers me if I have left a game unfinished. smile

Ok thanks Marian,

I guess I will just plod along a level or 2 a day with no high expectations.
At least if I get stuck at that point I know who to yell out too for help- and yes finishing games is important.
A form of OCD I think with me anyway.

Don't get me wrong here. It IS very long, but, for people who like HOG's, one goes away satisfied even if you quit the game early when one becomes satiated. The game is very clever and I am enjoying it. One just needs a break once-in-awhile. And, as for my problem, when I went into the game today, I unexpectedly had a whole new match 3 screen. Onward and upward!!!! Thanks for the help, you all. wave

I thought it's just me, too easily get bored. I stopped playing at the level 15, didn't want to go back to the same rooms to look for the same items. But i also hate to leave the games unfinished, so I guess I'll do like BellaRosa every day 1-2 levels.

Help, help! S O S ... Mayday!
I'm at the end trying to get the boat started, the final puzzle, I hope. The clues are too complicated for me to figure out and besides which I am so sick of this game that I can no longer think straight. I know, excuses, excuses, but my mother used to tell me when I tried to explain something to her that a poor excuse was better than none. Is that true?

The answer is right in front of you look at the markings on the boat it will show you a design and which way the switch goes. Once everthing is done it starts up off you go.

Thanks, MysteryFantic,
When I read your hint I thought it wasn't much help because I was sure I had looked at everything already. BUT ... I tried anyway and I was encouraged by what you posted to look a little closer and with a more open mind, I guess, and YES, this time I found the clues, easy-peasy!, and started up the boat in a matter of minutes. In less time than it is taking me to type this!
You have made my day! And my sanity! Such as it is.

This happened to me, too; I initially thought this puzzle seemed "difficult," but taking a closer look at the clues, it wasn't at all really.

I'll bet you're relieved to have gotten off that island (and finished the game)--I know I was!! lol wink

Hi Marian,
You bet right, I certainly was very relieved to have left that island, although that closing scene

Click to reveal..
with the sunset was really very lovely

and almost worth playing the game. Now that it is finally over and I'm finished with it, I can look back on the good parts (early in the game before it got soooo boring) and with the satisfaction of actually finishing the game, I feel sort of happy about the whole experience. Just so I don't have to do it again though.

A perfect summary of my feeling about the entire experience, as well! smile

Oh dear! What have I done? I have just purchased this game after 40 mins of trial and am enjoying it. It is more like an original type HOG with puzzles thrown in. Haven't played on a timer for quite some time now but it appears generous. Yes everyone - I do like it or I would not have bought it! Am I easily pleased? lol wave

Yes, I know it was an uphill slog. wink

Bernie, it's a pretty good game, really...but several of us thought that the game was about ten levels too long. Let us know what you think. wave

Now, I really am loving this game. It's a great HOG. I play just a few a night and look forward to it. You certainly can't say that you didn't get your money's worth. I love it and hope it never ends. smile I'll just probably start it all over when it ends anyway. It's a nice evening relax time.

Thanks Marian - I'll try to remember to come back after finishing the game but as I tend to just have short daily stabs at a game this may be some time.

A similar game, 'Mystery Legends - Sleepy Hollow', which I greatly enjoyed, reminds me of this game thumbsup wave
