I just gave the helmet to Major Crum.
Now I'm in the dining room and can't find a blueprint to click on to get a map. On the table there's a large piece of blue paper and I can't click on that. It doesn't look like a bluepint.
Maybe the time it is 4:17 AM is making me too tired.

Hi RAL,

I haven't played this game but just took a peek at the walkthrough - it states that the blueprint is on the dining table. Is it possible to approach it from a different angle to be able to click on it?

Hopefully someone familiar with this part will be along shortly. smile

RAL,

If I remember correctly there are 2 blueprints on the table: one the map and the other the robot.
If you clicked on one of them, you do get the map. You will see it when you exit the gate. See if that happens when you walk out the gate.

There are no blueprints that I can see. There is mail that Wallace was looking at at breakfast and there's a huge blue piece of paper that I can't make out. I look in my inventory and there is no map.

Rushes - I can only approach the table using the arrow keys on the keyboard and I can only get to certain parts and nothing allows me to click on anything.

Is the blueprint in the dining room or is it in the basement somewhere. The reason I ask this is that the WT says to go upstairs because Wallace said he wants a Strongium tea right now.

EDIT - Nope, no blueprint in the basement.

RAL,

That blue paper on the dining room table is the blueprint. The map is there. It is not in the basement.

If you need to go upstairs, climb the stairs.

Here's a walkthrough that has pictures - official walkthrough.

It states: Once in town, walk over to Mr. Paneer, who will greet you. Talk to him, and he will provide you with a map to more quickly get between the Town Centre, West Wallaby Street, and your home.
So go to town and talk to Mr. Paneer.

Stuck again.
I'm in the kitchen wanting to prepare the Quick Grow Muscle Formula. Have the energides battery, the strongoium tea bag but no grotein bar. I went to the basement but Gromit won't let me take one out of the suitcase.
What do I do?

Can you get a bar of grotein from Major Crum, if he's still around?

If you completely talked to him before he left - he should have given you and Gromit a single bar before he left the whole suitcase for Gromit. Check your inventory.

I went back to the basement and spoke to Gromit. He then gave me a bar.
I think for some reason I ate the one that Major Crum had given me.

Okay MaG
Going to make you laugh again. Wallace is in the kitchen in his underwear He answered a call by Conastable Dibbins. And is not getting off the phone. How do I make him hang up?

RAL, Is this the part:
Quote:
Major Crum has commandeered the dining room and porridge gun to try and fight the bees off who are loitering in the front yard. He orders Wallace out of the room, and Gromit takes charge again. While Crum battles the bees in with the porridge gun, exit the dining room and enter the foyer. Wallace will stop Gromit and wonder aloud whether the growth formula had anything to do with the preponderance of giant bees that have now taken over West Wallaby Street. Before he can finish that thought, though, a lone giant bee wanders in from the kitchen and goes down into the basement. Wallace realizes his involvement in the situation, but before he can get to fixing it, the phone rings and he rushes off to the kitchen. Follow him back there; he's on the phone with a quite irate Mr. Paneer, and goes off to try to talk some sense in to these hooligan bees.

It is and it's not.
I just can't get him off the phone.
========================================
This did not happen:

While Crum battles the bees in with the porridge gun, exit the dining room and enter the foyer. Wallace will stop Gromit and wonder aloud whether the growth formula had anything to do with the preponderance of giant bees that have now taken over West Wallaby Street, But a giant bee did walk out of the kitchen and Wallace did go downstairs and returned in his underware.

I'm sure I missed a step and I don't know how to correct my error

Have you checked the prior moves in the walkthrough to see if you missed anything? There is MaGs walkthrough Here as well.

I have not gotten that far in the game yet.

I messed this game up real bad. Started it over again. This time I'm going to play when I'm wide awake so I don't miss things.
Bad habit I have of playing games when I'm sleepy and missing things. sleep

Anyone know which file in this game is the saved file.
I'd like to make a backup in case I mess up again.
I'd rather be able to go to a back up rather than start the game over again. grin

Thanks

In XP, it is in My Documents; inside the Telltale folder.

Thanks MaG

Have another question. There are 2 files in that folder.

Prefs.prop and slot0.save - they both have the same time.

Do I need to make a backup of the both of them?

slot.0 is the auto saved game.
The prefs is very small - ~3 kbs - I don't think that one matters. Your new game - if you play another will make a new one or it is small enough that you can keep it too.
