I put the cane to the count's door, I have the rope in inventory, tied in the knot, but I can't place the knot on the door's handle or on the cane. The knot shows only after right-clicking it and I can't do anything with it. Please help me to finish this scene, I saved it with only 5 sec. left. :shiver:

Never mind, I did it.

Hello everyone -

Near the end of the game, you need to fly the airship to Bimini. To do that, you must chart your course on a map that is placed on the console.

It is obvious where on the map you begin. However, after all manner of clicking I never could get any response. I even thought for a while that it was a bug.

In final desperation, I used inventory items and found that clicking the gold coins on the starting point of the map makes everything work!

This is completely counterintuitive, so I thought I would post to save you some frustration. I hope I haven't spoiled anything.

Hi Lynnypoo,

The game isn't available for download yet, as far as I'm aware. A disc version can be purchased from Interact, though - link at the top of the page. :santa:

Actually when I played I didn't use the coins, I just clicked. Perhaps there's a different version.

I have just started this game and I'm stuck already. I looked at the wt and it says to zoom in on Marcel's desk but I can't locate the desk upstairs. What am I missing?
Thanks for the hints, I've got it under control (at least for the moment).

This is from one of the walkthroughs:

Office at Bay window: Go left and check Marcel's work bench.

Check the paper on the desk. It has the list of items in the chest.

There is an alcove on the left while you're at the lab area. Go left then and see the desk.

Disney,

If you label the innermost ring as 1:

1. Click-hold-turn ring 3 to align with the innermost ring 1. Release when they are aligned. Hear a sound.

2. Click-hold-turn ring 4 to align with ring 2. Release when they are aligned. Hear a sound.

3. Click-hold-turn ring 3 (and 1) to align with rings 4 (and 2).

Have another problem. I'm in Cairo and have talked to the man under the Antiques sign. The walkthrough talks about a deal over a soiled scarf. I've been through it twice and there's no discussion of a scarf. Have I missed it somehow? I have the string and the clothespins but no talk about a scarf. Help!!! Can you give me a hint? Thanks.

Be sure that you have talked completely to the man at the Cafe until he gives you information about the antiquarian.

Yes, I finally figured it out. Now I'm stuck trying to give the meat to the dog. Anybody have a save or a suggestion? I have the can open but can't find where I should put it before I run around and keep the dog penned. Help!!!

Hi Adorable,

Here's what ronrob advised on another thread a while back:

You don't actually give the food to the dog. You place it off to the right side. There should be a hot spot over there. That way, the dog will have to walk over to get it, which buys you a bit more time.

Hope that helps. luck

OK, I'll try again, I did try to put the food on the right side, left side, middle, and so far no luck. Thanks for the fast response. I'd sure like to finish this game but if I can't get past this I'll have to quit.
