Played both. Preferred Empress.

I had a lot of fun with Empress - just about the right length, with me wanting more game. Downloaded Pathfinders but haven't played it yet
So many games, so little time.

I have played both of this and found them to be good games. Spent most of today playing Pathfinders and found myself quite absorbed by it and sorry to see it finished. I think its just about the right size...no so long you wonder if it ever going to end, not so short I felt cheated.
You might consider flipping a coin either way you don't loose, can't beat those odds.
