Can someone please help me, I'm trying to play the game "Darkness Within 2"....I installed the game, but whenever I want to play it I get an error message "vertex shader version is old"

Can someone please tell me where to update it?

What video card do you have in your computer? What does it state as system requirements for video cards for Darkness Within 2? That message may indicate that your video card is not supported.

Download and run the following utility - it will identify your cards Shader Model support.

TechPower Up - GPU-Z


You'll find it on the Graphics Card Tab in the DirectX Support area. The first number is the DX version; the second is the cards shader model level.

This is set by the hardware and cannot be modified by drivers.
