I thought I might try DD II Ego Draconis next. It doesn't seem to have attracted rave reviews anywhere - well I haven't found any - so I wondered if anyone here has a good word for it

I did not buy it because the reviews were not encouraging. I would have loved a real DDII, but it sounds like too many changes for me. Ana

So. Not a good word here, either !! Well I bought it when it was released so I will have to give it at least a try .... sometime .... Maybe not just right now though

I bought a copy, and I'm sorry to hear the comments that it isn't, as I had hoped, a real sequel to the first DD. I found Beyond Diviinity to be disappointing, as well. A decent game, but not the same. Still, I'll fire DD2 Up someday. Right now I'm playing the original Sacred Gold, and started on Bronze by mistake. It's almost like playing in God mode. One fireball takes care of everything, except the odd dragon.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hmm. I loved Drakan, but I never could beat the ending because it was on the dragon. Granted that was before I was really into action-type games, but still, the dragon was beyond me. But maybe it'll be like Swoop Racing in Kotor -- I might finally master it and learn to enjoy it.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I will be giving the game a bit of play at some point Jenny100 - if only because I paid full whack for it - but I'm certainly no longer expecting to be elated !! And hagatha. I was pathetic at Swoop Racing and never enjoyed it. But I hugely enjoyed the rest of the KotOR stuff. Brilliant games, I felt
