That's right, I've gone to the dark side yet again

According to the w/t I'm following now, the Sun Sigil can only be found either in the Butterfly Hunt or the Chocobo race mini-games (which are optional according to the w/t) rider. Is the Sun Sigil essential to completing the game and if so, can it be found in a battle instead? The butterflies are very small in the BH game and I'm pitiful at races of any kind.

hope so, browneyedtiger. Just got my hands on a lovely PS2 Slim. A colleague gave it to me after buying his PS3, including FF 10, 12 and 13 would you believe! I viewed this gift as such a blessing, as I initially refused to buy it simply because A) square enix refused to make FF11 for the psOne and B) you couldn't play FF11 without going online after a while, which infuriated me even more.

Anyway, this hardcore FFF (FF Fan) plans on buying all of them now that they're (almost) all available for the PSOne Neat!

None of the sigils are necessary to finish the game. Also you can't play FF 13 on the PS2. It's only for PS 3. Just a heads up. I have all the FF games. I play them often. I put at least 100 hours into each one when I play. Have fun with your new games and system. I was a little upset about not being able to play FF 11 offline also.

Scroll all the way down the page and there are maps and everything you'll ever want to know about the gameplay and how to get the extra Aeons. What to choose on the Sphere Grid and so on. It will probably take you a month just to read it all. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for the link Cathy1. Guess I will find everything I need there. So far I've decided to make Kimahri my 2nd dark mage (was kind of a logical choice what with rikku and Yuna already present to do the job).

I finally found my way to the Al Bhed town and am currently fighting my way through it. Great place to get lots of AP... if you're patient.
