That is a pain -- I know. With the randoms the way they are people just don't care about finesse (sp?) anymore, they just run. I try to just take the time and put it in, it's better than pulling aggro and wiping the group, which I've done with my shammy and chain lightning. I've been on my shammy on Sisters of Elune most of the evening so probably won't be on Draka tonight. I'm kind of tired now. I'm pushing to get her to 80 now so I can do heroics with her. I moved her to the new guild too, since they have some shammies there that can give me advice on what stats are most important for me.

Yes, I think we will see a lot of that while they are getting ready for Cata. But Drakka is only scheduled for it's regular maintenance....so we shall see.

Don't you just hate that? It's a good thing you were fast thinking and caught it. I was trying to explain to my daughter last night that hacking into Wow accounts is a serious problem and she couldn't understand why. I explained to her that a lot of money is made out of taking over an account and selling the gold and equipment. She was astounded.
I'm so glad I have my authenticator now, too.

Lindy, good thinking. I get those emails in game regularly. I also get ones that tell me my account is going on permanent ban if I don't click this link and sign in to fix it. But it's all spam. I just report it and delete.
I also get in game whispers, which again, I report and add to ignore list.
Soot's WoW corrupted and we decided to reinstall via download. Holy Cow...big mistake. It's been downloading since yesterday!
No playing for us as the lag is 2000+. Time to change my ISP.

Wow Linda! That is Great you caught that! I'm so glad you told us about it cause now I know not to fall for something like that! I've already had my account hacked and don't want that to happen again Blizz was Awesome about fixing it though! How do you get other Mounts? I'm playing my NE Hunter and I have 4 tigers. I went to the trainers and riding instructor and they won't let me train? I want to get other Mounts besides the tigers. Hi JeanK! haven't seen you on in a while, where you been hiding? A Hi Andrea, How ya doing today, has it cooled down any for you? I hope your feeling better, please take it easy in that intense heat. you were making me laugh the way you were switching toons last night! Karen

Hi karen: I'm sorry I haven't been on the server for a while. My new guild on the other server kept me pretty busy last week. It's supposed to be a casual raiding guild but I ended up raiding 3 times, which is way too much for my nerves. I'm going to cut it back down to once a week so I can do other things. I don't like it when things get too intense -- it's not fun for me. I'll be back on Draka soon, I promise! I miss you all.

Hi! Linda, I had one yesterday, and another today! They were very scary, saying I was being investigated and my account was going to be frozen because I was violating some rule of the agreement or something. I forwarded them to Blizzard as a phishing or spoofing attempt. Then I created a new email account just for my Blizzard/Battle.net account which will not be used or published anywhere else. Then I changed the email address on my WoW account using the new exclusive one. This was reccommended in the Blizzard pages about phishing emails. Hopefully that will fix their wagon! They think they are very clever and the emails do look like the real thing, but the language and spelling are kinda off if YKWIM. Andrea Edit: Hi L4L, Jean and Karen! Good to see you, and I have missed you Jean! Last night, I was checking all my toons to see if any AH stuff had sold. This morning I went to start my car to go to work, and it wouldn't start. Not a dead battery, but my anti-theft system had locked the ignition. Some kinda bug. Then, I noticed the floor in my garage was a little wet. My water softener was leaking! Called a plumber and office to let them know I wouldn't be in today. Fortunately, we're not busy just now, so no prob. Car guy came and reset my anti-theft thingy and stopped the horn from honking. My car is 6 years old, and don't think anybody would steal a Hyundai anyway. Plumber came and said I need a new water softener. Well, I can live without it for the time being. I'm going to shop around and see what else is out there.

Ouch, Karen and Andrea. You've both had a couple of bad days. I hope things have gotten better. Sometimes I think gaming is all that's saving my sanity. At least I can be in control of it, lol, instead of how life falls apart at the seams. Karen, raiding can be fun or sheer you know what, depending on the group of people you're with. you just can never tell, unless you get into a good guild of great people. I've been in groups where people laughed and had fun the whole time, and other ones where they were so uptight and snipping at each other it made me miserable. My philosophy is, the game is supposed to be fun. If I'm in a group or guild that's stressing me out I leave. Summers on Wow are harder cause kids are out of school and you get a lot of stuff going on with them. So I try to hang onto the good gaming friends I have on Wow. I've got some good people I've met over the years, a lot of them over 50! So we understand each other a lot, and try to do instances together when we can.

Karen, there are over 200 mounts in the game. Some are quest rewards, some drop in certain instances, and some can be fished up in certain places while there is at least one that can be bought. For mounts of other races, you normally have to raise your reputation by doing quests with that group until you reach a point where they will sell you a mount. Check out This Site.

Do we have any in the Gameboomers Guild on Draka, who knows how to make a Mithril Casing? If so, then Staydown would LOVE to buy it
