This is probably a silly question. I have a picture of the military insignia in the smart phone. How can I get a database analysis of this picture? Do I need to use the forensic kit for this? How can I put the picture there? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, you take a picture and when you open the inventory frame - see the smartphone at top left.
The picture should then be entered to your kit when you click the smartphone.

Now using the kit, I think one of the icons on bottom right or right of the kit is a camera.
Check and click on it and see if it will ID the insignia.
Then do an analysis on it.

I started playing this game again after 2 weeks break and don't remember exactly what I've already done with the picture. I have it in the smart phone and tried to do the database analysis. When I clicked it, it didn't go to the kit. Maybe I'm just having a senior moment's attack. Thank you.

Check the icons at bottom right of the kit - see if one of them is camera. Clicking the camera might show the picture of the insignia.

I checked for the camera icon in the kit and it's not there. I probably did it all before so I just continue playing and see if I'll get the message.

Edit: I scrolled through the items in the right corner of the kit and found the picture of the insignia with
the explanation that it's a military badge of the Marines.
