After the time came that I was able to "become a dragon" in Divine Divinity II, the game became so difficult (for me) that I had to give up on it - and I had been enjoying myself SO much until then frown

However, to cheer myself up, I installed the original Divine Divinity for a re-play and am having a brilliant time with it all over again.

yay

That's two favourites of mine now though, where I've had to give up on a sequel - Divine Divinity II and Neverwinter Nights II - so rather disappointing.

Did anyone else have problems ?? Or is it just me being pathetic ?? eek

Mad, I think a lot of folks have had problems with the ending action. And yes, it is too bad....I think that is a nod to the younger generation for whom that type of action is almost second nature. wave

I haven't played either of those. I did Divine Divinity and the one directly after yet (was it Beyond Divinity?). I played Neverwinter and an expansion to it. After that I lost interest in them.

I play Wow, so I'm used to action, but action online and action in pc games tends to be a whole lot different. PC games are somewhat harder to me for some reason.

I loved the first Divine Divinity! I can't forget losing my bed on the street in the middle of a town and finding it there a day or so later. lol

Too bad a lot of people had to give up on Divinity II. It becomes more interesting after becoming a dragon. It took me two starts to finally figure out how not to always get killed as a dragon. I played in hard setting at the beginning of the game to accumulate more points. Whenever I was flying as a dragon, I changed to easy setting. I think one problem with the game was the limited upgrade you get as dragon compared to the human character. I had a lot dragon points and nowhere to apply them after I maxed out all the possible upgrades.
It was very tough at times and some fights I repeated about 8 times before I succeded.
I still think it was worth it though.

I too repeated fights several times, in case a change of tactics or whatever might offer hope.
[Although maybe not 8 times every time.]

I guess I'm just not good enough taz

Hi, Mad. I haven't played Divinity 2, but, if I were you, I would get the latest trainer for it from CheatHappens here . If you aren't an Unlimited Member, I highly recommend getting their Lifetime Unlimited Membership. I think it's 35 bucks US, but it's well worth it. Ask Maggie if you want a second opinion. Wasted money is like...buying games you want to play, then having to give up on them because they're too hard. wink Good luck!

Hi Sig Segorn smile

If a game is so difficult that I constantly have to cheat, I don't much enjoy it and lose interest frown

Anyway .... I've sold DD2 to another Gameboomer now, who, hopefully, will make it through to the end thumbsup

Cheers.

Mad wave
