Hi ,

I am playing KQ8 which I purchased from GoG (I am SO glad to have found that site!). In the Gnome Realm, the gasme freezes in the Armor shop near where the 2nd gnome is digging. I can still raise/lower the status bar, but I no longer have a cursor, and the spinning mask icon stays stuck at bottom right of screen. I've restarted the game (and the pc) twice, same problem.

does the GoG version of KQ8 need patching?

EDIT: Odd. After a 3rd restart of both PC and game, the glitch didn`t occur and I could buy my armor.

I believe the version from GOG has the patch already applied -

Well, patch applied or not, it would seem I am still having the same issue, except in a different Realm.

I consulted whatever threads there are on the GoG website and what comes up is that the bug happens when entering the Gnome Realm shops (all) and the Barren Region Weapon shop (where I am now). Sources on how to fix this issue seem rather scarce. I am still hoping for help on this end.
