I'm at the final battle Xolotl, but haven't defeated him yet! Are you playing on the PC or a console, marie?

Paul, I'm so sorry to hear about the diabetes acting up on you. It is a horrible disease for sure. I have heard such good things about the pump - hope it works for you.

I've tried to defeat Xolotyl about a dozen times with no success. I've gotten as far as the spiders, but can't get past them. Maybe later this weekend - hope you have more luck that I have!!

I have been trying to get the golden shotgun...replayed the level a number of times but can only score 220400..are there certain weapons to use on certain enemies to get a higher kill score...I noticed that one time I used the grenade launcher on the alligators and I scored a 4000 once...but it dont happen all the time...

220,400! I will be HOPING for a score like that on my 2nd go-around. I'm thinking the grenade launcher isn't going to cut the mustard with Xolotl. But I've gotten close a couple of times, so I'll keep trying...

I got busy building a stone retaining wall, but hope to get back to it by this weekend. Something is telling me I need to go back and get that Golden Shotgun too! I've gotten about half way through the final battle, but was having a hard time getting any further.

Hope that shotgun gets you through the first time!

I played Fable The Lost Chapters, but that's the only one. Still have to finish Bioshock 2 this fall too. I know the feeling!

Paul & Drac,I haven't finished the game yet but I'm fighting the last golems, I think there are about 5 of them, I got to the last two and then Xoytol appears on the high ledge above and starts throwing the fire balls. I really don't think I'll need that golden shotgun to finish him off though because I just used my regular pistols on the golems and just circled around them, and Xoyotol shouldn't be that hard with my regular shotgun (I think) I just have to find the time to get back to the game and concentrate to get the win. Wish me Luck guys.

Hey, I replayed the Mirror chapter and finally got the Golden Shotgun. Maybe between that and the rocket launcher I can finally get Xolotyl!

EDIT: I did it! Finally... Whew. That was quite a battle and I'm so glad I listened to you, Paul, and went back and got that Golden Shotgun! At one point I was down to nothing but my pistols and my spear against about 4 or 5 of those big fire monsters. Glad that's over!

But I will start a new game right away anyway, I'm sure.

I did it I did it, I got him, just using my trusty pistols, actually he was that hard just had to dodge the fire balls and then stand in the stairway a little way down on the right and keep on firing away. My rewards are the Legend Outfit and Heavy Jungle Outfit.

Thank you for your encourgament L4L.

Way to go, marie!! I was down to my pistols and the spear myself! I went with the Legend Outfit when I started a new game...

EDIT: Well, it doesn't appear I can start an actual new game. I really want to play this again to see if I can't get more of all the stuff I missed the first time. Does anyone know how to start over? All I have are the chapters from my first play-through.

Drac, Are you playingthe PS3 version?

It was a fun game to play but I'm now going to wait and see if we get to download those extra 5 packs that we where promised. Three more playable areas and two more characters that you can play as.

No, I'm playing on PC with a CyberSnipa keyboard gamepad, Marie. I might see if anyone else has posted this question on their forums.

I sure hope to see more DLC for this game, marie!
