Hi, please could you advise me. My computer is asking me to install service pack 2 for Windows Vista, I have 1 at the moment. Can you tell me if it is advisable to do so. Does it cost anything to do this, and what are the benefits. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to these things. Would it help with the games I play. Thank you Sam

SP2 is supposed to have some compatibility improvements, but that might or might not apply to adventure games.

If you haven't been keeping up with security updates, it will catch you up on those.

Service Packs are free.

Make sure there are no known issues with your model computer.
