Hi, Redz! I just finished as well, and loved it. In fact, I think I'll play it again because it wasn't until near the end that I realized I could use my map to move from room to room ! Susan

This game really is fantastic! I can't stop playing it but at the same time don't want it to end too soon. Hopefully, there will be many more like it. I feel the same way about the really good games. You just hope that the next game you choose will be as satisfying.

I have to agree, this one was a very worthwhile purchase for me. Making it especially nice was the ability to use an earned game credit to buy, & an extra punch on my card for buying!

Well, I did it. I finally finished Mystery of Mortlake Mansion. It was quite a ride, though I could have done without the string puzzles. Those always pull my strings. There was also a light up all the squares, which I had to skip because it was lighting me up. But the nice this about skip was that I received what would have been given had I solved the puzzle. Very nice. You may not like the game if you don't like going from place to place collecting pieces for this room or that. Or if your eyesight is like mine, then you won't like the darkened appearance of the shadow rooms as you try and find the objects in the HOG searches. But overall, it was a great game to play. Even though it had string puzzles.
If something gets your goat, it just proves you have a goat to get.

I just finished Mystery of Mortlake Mansion also and I really liked it. I agree about the string games, only thing I really didn't like. I liked the way you could move around using the map. I thought it was a great HOG and it took quite a long time to play. Great game.

I didnt like the string puzzles either, although I did manage to finish them - I dont mind one or two, but not one after another after another.
I also liked the map - It would be nice to see these maps as standard in games where there are many locations to travel to.

I thought I was good at string puzzles, until I played this.
I enjoyed the game, wish more would let me pick gender. Get tired of playing girls all the time.
