After almost throwing my laptop across the room in frustration trying everything to get Black Mirror to run on my Vista system I have decided to give up. I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions of good games that will play on my os (Vista). I loved scratches, syberia etc. Ive recently played some carol reed mysteries so anything along those lines would be great. Thanks all!

If you want creepy and like inventive puzzles, get Last Half of Darkness: Tomb of Zojir. You can find it here

There are playable demos available for some of Billy's other games on the site if you want to get a taste of what they're like.

Once Service Pack 2 was installed most of the Vista issues disappeared for me. The Black Mirror is one of the exceptions; The version of Starforce distributed is incompatible with both Vista and Windows 7.

You'll need to Google The Black Mirror NoCD to fix that.

I'll second both of the above and might add Alter Ego. Alter Ego is an entry level adventure and just a wee bit on the dark side (character wise).

Thanks for the suggestion. I really, really wanted to play the first black mirror first. Also I looked everywhere and could not find where to get Black Mirror 2. I will check out Lost Horizon, thanks.
