I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this question - apologies, if not

I'm not able to play Chronicles of Mystery, the Scorpio Ritual. The menu bars (horizontal and vertical) are empty and the dialogue boxes are empty. I was able to unlock the secret hiding place, but couldn't read the letter - it's blank as well. Going outside I attempted to speak with somewhere there, and was totally stopped

I've written to BigFish and I expect they will answer soon, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone else had the same experience.
