Yes. You did read that right.

I know we have threads from time to time about the games we are playing, but what about those one's you own, but still haven't gotten to yet.

I was thinking about this the other day and how many games I actually own, but have yet to get to.

I still want to play them, but just haven't had the time and then I end up piling more on top, even though I've been trying to cut back on that.

It may be impractical to list them all, but I'm curious to know who else is hoarding games (and what they are).

Off the top of my head I still have the following to get to:

Alpha Protocol
And Yet It Moves
Avencast Rise of the Mage
Battlestations Midway
Battlestations Pacific
Batman Arkham Asylum
Bioshock 2
Bully Scholarship Edition
Burn Zombie Burn
Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood
Culpa Innata
Darksiders
Dead Space
Farcry 2
Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I
Inferno
Kings Bounty
Lego Harry Potter
Mass Effect 2
Operation Wintersun
Puzzle Agent
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Resident Evil 5
Silent Hill: Homecoming
Tomb Raider (about 3 different games)

I'm missing some I can't recall, but I think you more than get the picture.

Oh my, you have alot. If started games but lost interest counts: Here goes.
Assassin's Creed
Prototype
Bionic Commando
Infamous
Dragon Ball Z - may start that one sometime
Darkvoid
Saw
Dante's Inferno
Lost Planet 2
Lair
No more adventure games
Generally if I don't like a game I give them to the grandchildren and they sell, trade them whatever.
By the hit and miss method I've discovered my interest is with the shooters, war games. They are like in-depth arcade games.

I too have a rather tall stack of "not yet played" - 24 games in all - with three quarters being Adventure and a quarter RPG wink

[And then there are also the games I have on pre-order !! evil]

So much better, though, than not having a stack lol

I don't have any game completely unplayed however, like Yankee, I have several that I started, played for awhile and lost interest. Whenever I can I play the demos then this doesn't happen very often but still happens. If the games is PS3, as most of my action games, and not too good I trade them in for different game. I keep some of the "good ones" though very rarely I replay them.

I don't remember having abandoned any Adventure but sometimes I almost did sleep

These days I actually abandon very few games because I know I'll most likely never get back to them.

I try and finish everything I can before starting something else, unless of course it's really really awful.

I'm still slowly making my way through Dragon Age Origins, well the expansion really.

I'm hoping to finish it so I can jump right into the Witcher 2, thus bypassing my huge pile of games to play once again.

Most of my list is adventure games but some that would go in this forum would be:

Alice In Wonderland
American McGee's Alice (and planning on buying the sequel even though I never played this one yet)
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Jekyll & Hyde
Penumbra (all 3 games)
Silent Hill 2, 3, and 4
The Davinci Code
Undying
Zanzarah

Which of these is easiest (to get my feet wet)? I've never really played a "darkside" game yet.

Hi oldbroad,
I would say Silent Hill 2 is the easiest of the bunch that you have left to play.

Amnesia is easy and a bit short. It is basically a lot of exploring and scary atmosphere. No combat at all, just avoiding a few monsters. I enjoyed it.

Thanks Cathy1 and Pokey. I think I may start with Amnesia since it is newer and I've read good things about it. I really, really want to play AM's Alice but am afraid I will not know how to and will get disappointed and frustrated.

AM Alice has 3 playing levels from easy to are you out of your mind. It's really fun but used both keyboard and mouse controls. It is also long and a walkthrough (at least for me) helps in some sections. You can die. Load up on the power packs. Saves are easy.

Wow, let's see there is:
Inferno
Ultimate Alliance
Silent Hill
Jekyl & Hyde
Arkania 3
shadow of Destiny
Dawn of Magic
Jason and the Argonauts

That's just a few of many

Good topic.

I've lost count of the games that are still sitting around waiting to be played. Just off the top of my head:

Both Bioshocks
Half Life 2
Fallout 3 and Vegas
The expansion to Divine Divinity 2
The last couple of Splinter Cells (I seem to have lost interest in this franchise long before I stopped buying the games)

There are numerous others that I can't recall offhand.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Aacckk, way too many.

Morrowind unfinished
Oblivion
Fable the lost chapters, unfinished
Prey
Fear
Far Cry (two 0f them)
Bioshock
Bloodrayne I and II
Witcher (not finished)
Also some downloads and Divinities and Diablos, I will never ever catch up at this point.

Forgot Silent Hill 3 and 4, probably more hiding in the back row of the shelf.

Well I was doing so well, I knocked several games off my list to play including Dragon Age: Origins, Puzzle Agent, Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire, The Witcher 2 and Portal 2.

Then it happened, there was a Summer Sale on Steam and I ended up adding more than I took off.
