Contrary to information reported in Windows 7 and Games, The 2nd Thread, I have just completed Crystal Key 2 on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit computer with no problems. I just installed the game and then the Nvidia patch, and it worked perfectly, didn't have to deal with any compatibility or other settings. I have the original 2 CD Adventure Company US version released in 2004.

Goods News Uncle Reg! Was the patch for just this game? Where did you get it?

The patch was only for Crystal Key 2, and I assume it was only meant for Nvidia cards as it was named ck2_nvidia_us.zip and unzipped to crystalkey2_nvidia_patch.exe.

I know, Uncle Reg. It's been on my list. I've been madly, insanely busy the last month or so. I would like to make both those changes at the same time. It will have to wait several days as we're picking up family from Germany at the airport later today for a 3-week visit.
