Several very kind and patient people have toiled to send me a copy of saves to help me, of little hearing, to get through the forest by following the lemur's cries, in AGON From Lapland to Madagascar. Unfortunately it seems something in my computer will not let the folder be opened. Been told could be my security system but need, and would appreciate any advice and or help if poss please. Now very desperate to finish this game.

What folder?
Are you talking about the game folder?
Or are the saved games in the form of a folder?
Or are you talking about a zip file (which has an icon resembling a folder)?

It's the game folder.

It's the game folder itself, from what I can tell from Lozza's postings over at Hints forum. We've been trying to get saves to work for Lozza, unfortunately without success. I guessed that it might be the computer's security locking the folder?

This is where the save files should be installed:

c:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Private Moon Studios\AGON_Bfg\Save\slots\(agon_01.sav... etc)

Could it be that Application Data is hidden and simply not visible, or write protection is on somewhere? (But the save folder itself shouldn't be protected as the game puts the saves there and you can overwrite them by saving the game to a used slot).
