Hi Can anyone please help me with the game I have just purchased, Sherlock Holmes and the Rose Tattoo, please? I have played this game for a fair few screens only to find that while I am outside Mycroft's all is well till I present Mycroft's keys to the doorman the screen goes black and the whole game shuts down and goes back to desktop? I haven't a clue what I did or have to do to get past it and my computer knowledge is scant I'm afraid. Hope someone can help me.

This is an old DOS game, are you using DOSBox?

Yes I am I downloaded it as suggested.

So, are you saying that DOSBox is crashing?

Sorry don't really know what is crashing, only that the games works great till a certain spot and when I go to my inventory and click "show" the screen goes black and the whole game shuts down and goes back to desktop. My son has followed the instructions sent and still nothing changes. He is convinced that it is the game and not the settings. I know next to nothing about computers so would just like my game to play and I can get on and enjoy it.
