Okay, I noticed this yesterday when trying to install the game Singularity on my computer. When I put the dvd in the dvd drive and let it launch, I don't get the option to install the game when the autorun/autoplay window pops up.
And I've already tried the settings in windows 7

How do I get the install option back? Since it's getting ridicules to being forced to do it manually each time I want to install a game.

Smiley,

When you put the disk in and the window pops up, do you have the option to open the file location and look at the files? If there's an Install in there (Application), try using that.

Gil.

Okay, I read your post again. Are you saying that Auto run doesn't work at all for any games?

AutoRun was working as it should, but it was when the AutoPlay windows showed, that I didn't get the install option for games or programs.

However, it looks like I found the problem. It was Panda Cloud Antivirus that was screwing things up. But I'm going to do a complete reinstall of windows 7, just to be on the safe side that everything of the program is gone.

Thanks for the help traveler smile
