Magnificent Monday ya'll Hubby and I got up for our morning walk. I decided that we should go to the creek park so the dogs could run free. Well, on our second lap I looked up and saw Keoki walking on 3 legs, not four. Soot said that Skywalker bowled him over when they were both targeting the same ball. So, home we came. Called the vet and we'll be heading to see them in a bit. Connie, fingers crossed for a good outcome with your tests. How long does hubby have to keep the port? Let you know what the vet says when I get back.

Good morning friends I was out-of-order for two days, crazy migraine pain because of the heat. Nan's cooler temps arrived here yesterday evening (thank you Nan for sending them) with a one-hour shower of rain and a temperature drop, so today I'am feeling much better. Just saying hello today and then I will get off the PC again to let my head have a bit more rest, and tomorrow I will be as good as new. Big bear hug to all of you! Especially tender hug to Joe I love you! Evelyne

The best to Keoki and you L4L. It's good to arrive at vet's in a beat up old car and make noise so they see it. I thought puppy and I would be at vet's this AM. She ate some people food -ice cream- my fault and treats just don't agree with her. But she's OK now.
My breakfast was a hamburg with tomato and onion and ShemerBaby pulled the pattie out from the bun but the ketchup stopped him. Then the tomatos looked appetizing but not for long. Ha!! Mama's little helper. All this happened in front of the PC. I eat either in front of the PS or PC and the kits sleep on the kitchen table.
Yesterday and so far today =lovely weather and how. Y'terday was cool and overcast and early this AM -"What's that noise?" Rainrainrain How lovely and refreshing. It's still kinda cool.
Must call the lawyer concerning my will -Ah tedium.

Good morning everyone. Thanks for opening Ana. Hugs, hugs, hugs to you Joe. I hope my new watch comes in today. It seems like it takes forever for USPS to deliver, especially since it has been sitting in Earth City, MO since the 13th. I miss not having a watch. Keep looking at my wrist to see what time it is. It is going to be hot here for the rest of the weeks. After today in the upper 80's, it will be in the 90's with heat index around 100. Humid also. Don't have any plans for the day so will just go with the flow. Have a nice day everyone. Bets

Good morning to all especially our split personality Ana/Joe duo. Thanks for filling in since I would really miss not having a diner to come to each morning!
NEW people moving in at the just vacated house across and 2 doors down. So far only 3 men (20's to maybe late 30's) have been there with one U-haul load of 2 beds, a few misc bedroom furniture pieces (economy furniture type of pressboard and very light). Also saw about 8-10 huge trash bags full of clothes and linens. They spent about 1/2 hour and then left I assume for a second load. Probably live nearby and are moving in small loads. No women, kids, dogs, aliens from outer space yet.
Can hardly wait to see if they 1) have tons of screaming kids, 2)have a 'garage' heavy metal band, or 3)have a herd of barking huge pit bulls. Maybe all of the above. Crossing fingers.

Well, could have sworn I posted, but I can't find it. Back from the vet, but Keoki is still there. He has a torn ACL. The vet will do a number of things before we pick him up this afternoon including K Laser, xrays, pain management, and immobilyzing the leg. Then we will spend the next 2 weeks keeping him as still as possible. I wonder if I can hibernate with him on my bed for the next 2 weeks. If that doesn't work, we'll be talking surgery. I feel so bad for him. Thanks for the hugs and good thoughts. He can certainly use them.

Evelyne HUGS!! Glad the cool arrived and your head is starting to feel better. Yankee glad you didn't have to make a Vet visit today! Sassy loves to lick the bowel when I eat ice cream. Sorta hope the guys are quiet and no kids or dogs!!! Good luck! Bets stay cool in all that heat. We are in the 70's with a nice breeze off the lake so it don't feel too hot. Night Haroula!!! Poor Keoki! Does he play professional football? Hope the 'taking it easy' heals him fast and no surgery. Still not seeing any females at the new rental place. Strange. Now there are 4 men and 2 small cars along with the U-Haul. They are on trip number 7 I think and backed in so far that I can't see what's being unloaded, but I assume it's kitchen appliances since no big furniture would fit through the tiny kitchen door. Still no big furniture (sofa, tables, chairs). Just lots of smaller items and a stationary exercise bike. There MUST be some women because I definitely saw a large, artificial flower arrangement go in. Don't think the menfolk would have that. No kids seen, no dogs, but I'm not the only 'nosy' neighbor. The family next door to them has spent more time in their front yard than I have seen in 5 years. Very funny. Daughter has 'checked' her mailbox at least 10 times and I saw her pick up her mail earlier in the day. This is so funny. Then she and her dad took a walk down the block. Don't think I've ever seen HIM out walking at all. Love it. Makes me feel 'normal'.

Well, I looked for my post today but I can't find me so I'll post now. Thanks Ana for opening for us again. I hope Joe knows how much we love him. I worked a split shift today but I have tomorrow morning off so I'm sleeping in in the morning. I'll be looking for the BB pancakes in the morning as I didn't eat them this morning. Can't wait. Have a good evening all. Midgie
Just do it.
