I've been using Chrome for quite a while but lately it has been finicky and running very very slowly, and now, it's become unusable for me. It's up to date. It works fine for just a few minutes and then I get a "shockwave" error message and then it's all over. I have to reboot my computer to get it to work again, and it will only work til I get that error. Hubby turned off shockwave last night but it happened again this morning. I'm using FireFox to post this.
Anyone else have recent Chrome problems?

L4L. I have problems with it shutting down. I run CCleaner at night before I shut the PC down and I have to force Chrome to close. I get a message that it is taking too long to close and do I want to force it to shut down/close.

l4l, I had the same issue with Chrome on a computer I was working on. Inland, it is the one that had 900+ pieces of malware on it! I tried everything I could think of and finally uninstalled Chrome for good. I didn't feel so bad when I found out their son-in-law had the same problem trying to get it to work in a stable manner. He is some kind of computer security guru for the Army National Guard.
Mine works fine, but I don't really care for it and seldom use it.
