I've noticed this patch on GOG. What does it attempt to correct?

I haven't started yet, need to upgrade to new PC. (my 6 year old PC won't run it)

As I understand it, one fix was related to the map in the game, and there were also some other minor bug fixes. It won't fix the green screen problem.

Thanks, I decided to bite the bullet and order a new PC to replace my old one (which is about 5 years old). I should get it by this weekend if not sooner, and it exceeds the specs for Tesa Effect. So I guess I'd install the game first, followed by the patch.

Yes, in fact I did. I'm not the type to order components and build my own, and the price was good. I'm still playing Broken Sword 4, but I'll at least install The Tesla Effect and make sure it runs.

Good news, I received my new computer yesterday, and finished setting it up today on my lunch hour. Of course, once I had everything else set up, I installed the Tesla Effect and it's running flawlessly. I only got past the intro, to where Tex is exploring his office, then unfortunately I had to go back to work :(

So, I assume I can install the patch at any time, even after I've started playing? In not, no big deal if I have to start over.
