We visited Susie yesterday. Out of the blue she said, "I'm going to get well." She had a good night last night. Today is Vince's birthday. Vince. Love ya.

Susie managed to pull her mittens off and pull the tube that goes into her stomach, out of her nose. They are trying her without it for awhile. She did this during the night. Will go see her tonight after dinner.

Don't know you all that well yet, but I want to at least give you a hug. Hope that feels ok. (there is no good hug-smiley is there?)

Vince called. They have taken all tubes out except picc line. He will be making arrangements for her to be transferred to a skilled nursing facility with hospice.

A move means more to cope with - but a hospice here in the UK does usually guarantee the best possible care. Again, hugs for you all, flutist

Oh, good. I had home hospice care with my 2nd husband. They were absolutely wonderful.
