I'm just starting this game. I need to tell the office about the helicopter accident, the walk through tells me "Click on SOS to read the mail to be sent out". I'm not too swift, what does SOS mean? I tried typing SOS nothing happens. Maybe someone could explain this a little better for me.

Hi,

SOS means you are calling for help. Go to the left of the plane, and go near the bare tree. Your computer will blink, and when that happens, click on it and your SOS was sent.

I'm at the Pharmacy, the lady left to go to the University for some biocardamom. I've punched the holes in the card and placed it on the slot under the window. I can't push the lever because Ariane is standing in front of it. I can't get her to step aside, she always leaves the screen and goes into the street.
Anyone got the answer to this problem?

Just to add in case you haven't gotten through yet - go down a step and go right. Turn to the counter and move the cursor to look for the active spot of the lever.

Now when I try to give the potion to Adam I keep going into the store. Got any suggestions?

Urabeth - remember where you left Adam. He is in the secret room inside the store. If you mean after you give Adam the potion, you get automatically placed in the other room at the pert store - check your inventory to see if you have the fly map.

I'm trying to get the Floating Garden to come down. Do I have to cover the hole with the leaf on each stand and go pull the tongue on the rock before I do the 2 stands sequence? I've done the post using the middle columns in the walkthrough 3X after each set I've pulled the tongue. The Floating Island does not come down.
What am I doing wrong?

Urabeth, this is what Marita said to Betty Lou when she was having trouble with this part of the game: "Betty Lou, I did not uncover any of the stands after I pulled the tongue. I just went on and did the next set of posts."

I think I found the pipe tube inside the geyser elevator. When I try to put the white ball in it nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Urabeth -- you may not actually have the Unique Ball. The game allows you to take any ball that you end up with, even if it isn't the correct one.

It should be possible to examine the ball in your inventory. If so, the results of the examination should show that the ball is unique.
