Thanks.

Hello Irishem, and to GameBoomers!

If the buckets will not move, then most likely you haven't gotten the power turned on yet. Did you manage to "capture" the sun in that telescope? It's a little tricky, and you probably need to give it another try...

What is suppose to happen after I capture the sun? I have clicked on the sun, even dragged it while in the circle, I hear what sounds like machinery starting up, but still nothing. When I flip the lever at the buckets, it sounds like something is trying to start up, but then it dies. Help, please. Thanks.

When you have successfully captured the sun, the noise of the power starts up and doesn't stop. I found that the best way to accomplish this was to raise the circle of the telescope to the right level first. Then start it moving to the left, by clicking on the left button, and then when the sun is in the middle of the circle, click the left button again. That worked for me...

same thing happened to me, I thought I had the power on when I heard the motors start up. If the power is on you will see all the mechanical parts turning, cant miss it. Then the buckets will move.

Just started playing URU again. I am trying to get onto the riding buckets. And this is where I stopped the last time I played it. So in order to save my sanity. Someone please send me a saved game after the bucket ?? Thanks.

Currently playing URU and Mysterious Journey II

The last I heard, after much effort it was concluded that it's virtually impossible to get someone else's saved game to work in Uru.

Unless maybe someone has figured out recently how to do it without causing all kinds of complications?

All those things happen to me... I am sure it is turning the power on that has messed me up. I get the sun in the middle, I hear the whirring noise I have moved the levers in both directions, before and after aligning the sun but still dont seem to have the power on...not that I am aware of anyway...any suggestions please, thanks

Hello, Skydancer, and welcome to GameBoomers!

My guess would be that you aren't capturing the sun long enough to really get the power fully on. Does the noise continue? When you pull the two levers (after capturing the sun, not before), the big metal tubes that extend from their platform should start to turn. If they don't, you haven't gotten the power on fully...

Okay thanks...the sun continues to move away from I dont seem to get it to stop, should the levers be towards me or away from me, I think the noise continues for a while but stops after I step away from the telescope

The sun should stay in the middle of the circle if you've successfully captured it, Skydancer.

I can't remember which way the levers should be, but if the big metal tube is moving, it's turned right...

Once you have the sun at the center (by using the up-down arrows at the bottom and the left-right arrows at the side) and the circle of the telescope is moving at the same speed (play with the right, left arrows) - you should hear the generator sound. Then just move out and you should see the giant rod turn on each side of the levers that you pulled and if you look below the stand the gears are moving on both side.

Good luck!
