I, am, confused. I, am playing The Black Mirror and having trouble at the tower base. In the WT it says to look close and right click at the bush to the right to get a strange object.

I have done that and I, have not seen any strange object.

Please advise.

Did you get Bates show you the tower base where William fell?

Did you look close at the symbol on the wall?

You should see the item on the Bush when Bates leaves.

Doing things in order to trigger doing other things is big in this game. Just as big is the necessity to left click AND right click on everything......and I mean everything. Missing a right click has messed me up several times already but I'm almost at the end of this game.

I, am, having trouble entering the church, and also, I don't understand what it means looking for the findings in William's diary.

I go to the church and try to enter the church through the side entrance, when I do that Samuel says it is locked.

What do I do?

Rose Marie, after you find the side door to the church is locked (you will never use the big front door, only the side one) talk to the gravedigger, then go check out William's grave in the rear of the cemetery and then talk to the gravedigger again. If you've done everything else, that should trigger the man bringing you William's things at the gate.

Right click on all of his stuff to see what to do next...

I did all that, I, am, passed that.

This is after going to the Morgue and using the key on the garbage container. I take Henry's clothes and it exposes human remains underneath. I right click Henry's clothes. I find a diamond. I click the diamond over the strange object to complete it and then the WT says now I can enter the church. I go to Warmhill Vicrage and I, am, suppose to enter the church through the side entrance.

I go to the side entrance, and ready to go in the church and Samuel says it is locked.

What do I do?

This is the most common problem that I found that stops the gamers from entering the church -

Look in your inventory and if you see 'torn papers' - look at it closely again in inventory.
Then move one or 2 pieces of paper until Samuel talks about the letter. The label of the torn papers should change to letter for R.

If it is not above - have you discussed the toner with the doctor and have gotten the strange object from the pawn shop?

I, am, having a problem. I, am, in Stonering, I talk to Dectective Collier. I note that the blood is only on the alter. I go and look at the 3 Menhirs and where he says he has to record the symbol, I take out William's diary, but cannot record it.

What am, I doing wrong. Please advise.

Hi, Rose Marie!

What happens when you click William's diary on the symbol? Did you check the back of the diary to see if the symbol was there, because I don't think you receive verbal confirmation? If the symbol is not there, are you looking at an extreme close-up of the symbol before clicking William's diary on it?

There's a few other things you need to do at Stonering, but I don't think it makes any difference whether you record the symbol before or after.
