Hello Mary. I need to know if you are playing as junior or senior detective. The symbols all have to "face" the same direction. The triangles have to be upright. Yes you do have to pass the typing test. If you are playing senior level, I have a save for you.

DEar Cocoa Bean, I had trouble with the typing test also. I randomly hit keys(lower case) than switched to (upper case). Just keep hitting keys really fast including numbers. Don't even look at what's on the computer screen. The walkthrough here at Gameboomers really helped. Good Luck! Susie

cocabean -Mary, Please just use one thread per game. This way we can follow your gameplay and possibly help you better. Also it doesn't push another thread off the first page. I deleted the other thread you started. Are you talking about the gargoyle at the corner? The clue here can be found by counting the comets at the Corbin coat of arms. Box in Nancy room will be opened by studying the star chart at Nancy's room and Bridgitte's coat of arms. The lightning bolt and the clock will be needed later in the game. It is best that you do the gargolye puzzle at the corner, then continue on with the series of puzzles that follows that. Then you will find the other side of the triangles that you asked earlier. There's more to do before you can gather all the clues.

Mary, Might be best to read the walkthrough to get your bearing. It will also explain why your doing what your doing. The dreams are just part of the story. Comets: Study Corbin's coat of arms in inventory and see the number of comets on the right and left of the crest. So turn the gargoyle: 2xs right arrow, 1 left arrow, 1 right arrow, 2xs left arrow and 1 right arrow.

No, I don't think it is needed to be played in a certain order but if you look and study everything that you hear or find - you will find the reason for doing things and also the clues to puzzles. It also will get you moving to do the next logical step. Betty - is a trial game for the real game later. It is best to solve the gargoyle puzzle at West end and continue from there down to the lab. Things will be clearer after you read the ancestor journal.

You don't need to see the raw meat. Or take it. It's just part of Linda's "transformation", or so she believes.

Mary, I don't remember what you get from Jane after you complete the jigsaw puzzle. If you will remind me, I'll know where to look in my saves for you. But the jigsaw isn't that hard if you do the corners first and then fill in the side pieces. Let me know Sue

Are you playing the junior or senior level Mary? It will make a difference if you are playing as junior. Also, you need to know that I didn't follow a walkthrough so my game will not match yours. I always run through games and handle, steal everything I can get my hands on.
