Was HoD as satisfying to others as I thought it was? Loved it! Glad to be back to Westros.

I cannot understand how The Expanse got cancelled not once, but twice. It's the most exciting science fiction I've ever seen on the small screen. I know they ended the series at the end of book 6, so there is a sort of logical stopping point, but honestly, this is why I almost never start watching a new series now. I don't trust networks and now streaming services to finish what they've started.
Anyway, I'm about to start Season 5, which is where we left off watching a while back. But I've also started to re-read the books. I'd gotten to book 4 and was waiting for book 5, and then forgot about it! So I have a lot of good reading ahead of me.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

We just finished Frequency on Netflix ... plot: a present day detective makes contact with her deceased father via a ham radio ... very good drama mystery whose story line is loosely based on the original 2000 science fiction thriller drama film same title. I believe it's only on the Netflix lineup until 3 September ... 13 episodes for you Binge Watchers

Thanks for that soot: may have to revisit Netflix for a look at that and a couple of other items. Meanwhile, BBC had just started another season of The Capture which has us hooked https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00085sx

I don't know either of those but will check them out. Started watching Pistols on Disney and half way in its a definite mixed bag. I have recently been seeking out 'indie' SF films. The Endless, Vast of Night and Coherence are ones that are well worth a watch if you like a thoughtful contemplative after-shock.

Lex, The Endless is 'connected' to another film by the makers called Resolution. It came first, and I didn't watch them in that order and didn't think it mattered, but if you watch and enjoy The Endless check that one out too.

Looking forward to watching Amazon's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Me, too. Just coming up to the final season of The Expanse. I'm sad it's ending. It's just so good.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

While i wait for the Rings of Power to complete its season, I'm starting with Bosch: Legacy. I enjoyed the Original Bosch -- Titus Welliver is perfect -- and this doesn't disappoint.

The Legacy series didn't grab me as much as the original hagatha but its certainly worth a watch. Titus is as good as ever. And I am with you SQF

If you like bit of family drama wrapped around the tension in the kitchen of a Chicago 'sandwich shop', The Bear is well worth a watch. It builds a great sense of place and atmosphere. Its new on Disney down here.

I will have to look for Bosch on Prime... it sounds good.
The 11th episode of The Sandman did not disappoint! I sure hope this has more seasons because I loved it.

I'm thinking that I'll re-watch Fringe. It's been 10 years, and I thoroughly enjoyed it back then.
