And the other thing is, they keep finding huge caches of food and other much-needed supplies, and yet instead of going directly home and stashing the stuff, they keep on driving around and end up having everything stolen. A couple of times I've found myself shouting at the TV -- "You morons -- just go home!"
The one especially egregious example is when Daryl and Rick have literally a truckload of food and medicine, and instead of going directly home they continue on, Jesus steals the truck, then they steal it back, and then while they're fighting each other the truck slides backwards into a lake. I mean, it was intentionally funny, but still...

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Although it is a bit lightweight, we are rather enjoying A Person Of Interest: for the first couple of episodes it looked like a limited scope one-trick pony but it then picked up and I note that it ran for quite a few seasons from 2011 - 2016 (I think perhaps only recently becoming available in UK). Has anyone else tried it?

I remember watching that series Lex...it was excellent. I think there were about 6 Seasons on TV in the USA.

I started to watch it, then got sidetracked, and then it was no longer available. It did seem like something I might like. I might look for it on my streaming services again.

Still plowing through TWD, halfway through Season 9. It's actually better than I remember it .

TWD had some Seasons that were fantastic...then some not so good. I stuck it out for the whole series and am waiting hopefully that the spin offs will be good.

TWD has some slow seasons, it's true. But on the whole, it's pretty good. I just re-watched an episode in which someone ended up dead because they did something that no rational person would do. Everyone piles through the gate to get away from the zombie horde -- except this fool, who stays behind to fight said zombie horde instead of just going through the darned gate with everyone else and closing it!

Lex, we loved Happy Valley. One of those sleeper shows that didn't get much attention but was truly excellent.

It was not short of attention in England, especially the final series: the fact that it was not all immediately streamed but only available at the rate of one episode per week also played to advantage in terms of anticipation and media coverage. James Norton as a very unpleasant villain is quite a contrast with some of his other roles, in particular as a vicar in Grantchester!

I'm still watching TWD, halfway through the penultimate season. It is better than I remembered it. I mean, it ain't what you'd call highbrow, but it certainly is entertaining. What was surprising to me was that the ensemble cast is strong enough that the "star" of the show was able to leave with barely a ripple. I didn't even notice that he was gone after a couple of episodes.

I'm several episodes into the final season. In a way more of the same-old/same-old, but it definitely has my interest to see how it ends.

I’ve been watching more films than TV this week - including the “already seen several times” : Misery : and : Dolores Claiborne : dramas. Both, of course, starring the excellent Kathy Bates A wonderful character actress !!

Well if you go for it, Lex, I hope you enjoy 🤞
Tonight I might dig out the old ‘Salem’s Lot’. Another I’ve watched several times over the years but one which I still find “unsettling” 😱😱😱

I might have been subliminally inspired last night as I watched Donnie Darko from many years ago. I reckon it’s been a dozen or so years since I last saw it. Frank remains as freaky as ever
