It will be a bitter cold day today and get even colder with the wind chill...so much snow expected tomorrow thru Monday!

Connie hope your issue gets resolved quickly. Oldbroad, I too am wondering if Fogfighter is okay. Judith I love mac and cheese. I could eat it every day...makes a nice leftover snack too!

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. All that's left is the cleanup and a very large loan. My son will be by to start on the walls this week. Working the kitchen at the Eagles tonight, karaoke to follow. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Good Saturday morning. THERE he is! Seems winter has its grip on you, Fogfighter!

We are hunkered down here in east central Missouri. I made a run in town for groceries and wine and we are good to go. It started snowing about 8 this morning, but this first wave is supposed to be pretty minor. The real accumulation is supposed to happen overnight tonight. The brutal cold is the real concern around here because people aren't used to it. Where I grew up in extreme NW Iowa, the high yesterday was 8 below zero F, so I am used to it. Still hate it though!

All our travelers here for the funeral last week have safely arrived home. We were especially worried about our granddaughter driving back to her Army base where she is stationed in Texas because the ice storm across the south could be historic and they are afraid power grids will go down.

Happy Saturday. Seems I really slept in today.

I sure wish I could bottle up all the positivity and energy (or whatever the right words are) that I see in the forum here and make some personal use of it. You all get things done!

Fogfighter, thanks for stopping in to let us know you're okay (or at least there and cold).

We're in positive single digit numbers today for the temperature so, better than yesterday there, but no attempt being made for a grocery run for a few more days at least.

Oldbroad, now that all the company is gone and winter has settled in, I am officially going into my hermit mode for the foreseeable future! I suspect that you've got some of your own energy already bottled up and it's just a matter of using it or not. Just do whatever makes you happy even if it's nothing!
