Good morning Ana, Gerry, Connie, FogFighter and all who follow. We're having incredibly warm temps too Connie, and headed back to the freezer on Sunday. Passed my first post procedure check-up this morning with flying colors...next one in a couple of weeks. Time to enjoy bagels and wide awake double dark brew. Have a great T.G.I.F. Friday everyone

Wow, our weather has been a real roller coaster, it's 0 F going up to 5 F. I'm tired of winter now, can't wait for the spring flowers to bloom. Have a great day everyone.

Good Friday afternoon. I noticed my daffodils are peeking their little green heads out of the ground! Hope they don't get frozen off.
So I've been wrangling computers. Got my new one last yesterday and just had time to connect to monitor and boot it up... except it didn't. Fans were running, lights were on, but nobody was home... nothing on my screen. I tried a different monitor; I tried a different cable - nothing. I sent a quick email to Mike at ecollegepc just before I left for bowling last night at 6. He responded right away and told me to check the motherboard code when it booted up. ASUS has nice big red code number to help you troubleshoot. Well, my code was 55 - no RAM detected. I asked if it was OK if I just reseated the RAM. I have a huge CPU cooler and was worried about taking that off, but I just had to snap off one of the end fans. Popped the RAM, reseated it, replaced the cooler fan and TA DA! Success! So, when I recommend ecollegepc because of their customer service, this is why. They can all make mistakes, but it's how they handle them that makes the difference.

Yes, for sure, it helped that I was familiar with the interior workings of a computer. I don't know how they help those who don't know their way around inside. Probably return the unit.

Good Morning everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready. Soot that is good to hear everything is going well! Draclvr glad you got your new computer up and running! We had some mixed precip yesterday...icy mix that coated the roads and driveways. it has started snowing now so all that ice is going to be under the snow making for treacherous walking. I am cat sitting this week so hopefully as the day warms up...temps are supposed to get into the 40s...I will not have an issue going to care for my neighbor's cat. Hope you all enjoy your weekend! Good Saturday morning. We're having a few snow flurries right now, but it's not supposed to amount anything.
My goodness this computer is fast! My old one was state of the art 6 years ago, but these new generation SSDs are wonderful! I put an Ultra processor in it too, so I'm sure that makes a diffeerence. Now, what to play first! I'm thinking I might download the new Vampire Masquerade. I've played through most of it, but was last summer, so I won't remember anything!
I am doing the night feeding/closing for two nights down at the Ranch. Not much to do right now. I have to feed three old guys and Bubbles the Zebu and that's it! We have a heated vet room where we put animals that must stay in quarantine and need heat. I have to go in there that turn out lights if there is anything in there. Last night there was a mama Nubian goat with two little babies! OMG, they were so cute! Nubians are the goats with the long floppy ears.

Good Saturday morning everyone. Another warm morning for our walk at 72 degrees and now we're enjoying rain showers. I think I have a grocery run this afternoon but first we're gathering a portion of the family clan to play ROOT, the RPG over the lunch timeframe. Yes indeed Draclvr, baby goats and sheep are adorable. Time to tank up on WADDB and bagels. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone

Happy Saturday! Gloomy and gloomy here. Brother brought my groceries and I have 2 (hopefully easy) recipes I'll be making this week. I woke up from some dream about some type of mini game I was playing but I don't recall ever playing that particular game in real life gaming. Too bad I can't remember it. I often dream about puzzles in games I am playing. Probably tells you something about my life. Enjoy your day everyone!

LOL! I had a similar dream the other night. It was about some game puzzle which I don't remember!
Get this! Forgot to tell you that Mike with ecollegepc offered to drive out to my house and get this new computer running if I wasn't successful! That would hardly be possible if you lived far away, but even the offer was impressive.

Good Morning Fogfighter, connie, Draclvr, oldbroad, Mad, soot, andf everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark brew is ready. We are expecting snow late this afternoon...they are saying blizzard conditions with high winds, drifting, and heavy wet snow lasting thru Monday 12 to 18 inches...power outages expected too. I may not be posting tomorrow. I think we need that "snow emoji" back! I am still cat sitting for my neighbor. Their flight home for Monday was cancelled yesterday and now they won't be back till late Wednesday night! I will make sure their cat has enough food and water today and enough thru Monday in case I can't walk down to there in the deep snow. I hope you all have a great day! Gerry

Good morning Gerry Connie and all who follow. Gerry, your forecast brings back memories of when I lived in Kittery, Maine ... we used to get these incredible snow falls. Sounds like you have an excellent game plan. Stay warm. Grocery shopping is on my docket today. Our warm weather is coming to an end as we head back down to the 20s at night and 40s in the day. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/winter.gif) Enjoying wide awake double dark brew and bagels before I head out. Stay warm everyone and have a wonderful day.

Good Sunday morning. Cold and sunny here, but thankfully none of Gerry's snow! Sounds like a good plan to make sure kitty has enough food and water in case you can't make it down there.
Have fun on your short cruise, Fogfighter!
